Nah... M good.

I am in a massive dilemma here. Need: 2K 144hz gaming and chatbot training

Gigabyte rtx 3080ti 12gb wind force 3x for 80k. Is this a good deal?
Zotac Rtx 3080 trinity 10gb Rs 70k
Zotac 3060 Ti for 36k
Other option it to go middle ground for 3070 Ti for 45k.

Heart says 3080 Ti, brain says 3070 Ti, upgrade to 4xxx after a year or two.

All this thanks to Nvidia going greedy with 4080. But then, with 4080, I do not want to use by B450 motherboard and I have to upgrade my 650W PSU as well. And if I have to upgrade my mobo, I will probably upgrade my CPU and as I go with 7xxx CPU, I end up with moving to DDR5. This is the worst time to upgrade!!!!!

What if the 7900XTX was meant to use GDDR6x rather than GDDR6? The performance would have undoubtedly been a little bit better.

It may beat 4080 better with GDDR6x but..

If 4070 Ti can match 7900XTX with RT off, surpass (which it probably would) 7900XTX with RT on and if Nvidia prices it even 5% above 7900XTX, it is game over for 7900XTX and AMD can use 7900XT for donations. They may even give it away for free or at 50% discount with 7xxx CPU purchase.

You see.

4090 is not 1.5L and above.
4080 is 1.1L and above.
4070Ti will be 85k and above.

Yes. If 4070 Ti is going to cost 90k and given that 7900XTX is going for 95k or so, buyers will obviously go for 4070 Ti. But then paying this much for xx70 series is unheard of (in normal times) though it will outperform 3080/Ti.
I spoke with Golchha in SP Road and there is an offer going on. Corsair gaming chair worth 20k free for 4080 card. If one is in the market for both chair and a high end GPU, this is a decent deal.

All prices will fall significantly by end of q1 and be in line with expectations...imo it is foolish to buy a last gen card at current prices if you are not in a hurry

since you plan on upgrading next year then just stick to 3060 12gb variant. unless you have lot of disposable income then sure aim for 3080 at least if you want 2k 140+fps in single player games (with dlss quality)
3080 atm in used market goes for 40K if its around 6months old. so if you plan to sell it later on then be aware of its selling value as it will only get less with time.

also inno3d variant of 40 series are quite cheap like 4090 goes for 1.38L (just undervolt the GPU to reduce temps/power and you'll be good)
