Yep
In retrospect, I bought my 3080ti at a reasonably good price of 58k (sold my 2070 for 24k)
Posting this to console myself, nothing else :')

Interested to see what the supply and demand will be like this time. The last time supply got messed up due to multiple factors but this time, nothing of that sort is in play.

No idea but i need to change my gpu, chugging along waiting for the 4000 series.

So glad I grabbed a used 3060ti before this launch, I wanted to get the 4070 but I guess I'll stick with 3060ti and skip a generation or two hopefully. Only the 4090 looks like good value.

You'll be waiting indefinitely if you want 4060/4070 or lower tier.

Sources say Nvidia has cleared a lot of the stock of 3080Ti and above tier cards. They have a lot of 3060/70/80 cards in stock so they're offering only 4080/90 as top tier for enthusiasts and 3060/70/80 for mainstream gaming.
And this slide proves it...

So Nvidia launched the beefy 3090ti in April 2021 and rendered it comparatively worthless in almost 1.5 years lmao

4080 comes out in November. 4070/60 might come out early next year and everyone will be jumping to get their hands on them. Ditch greed(n), buy whatever you can, and enjoy gaming <3
Top tier cards never stay top tier for that long. Get used to it, especially by a company such as Nvidia.
Getting used to it slowly.
At least apple enables features in their old pro models via OS upgrades. Nvidia's new tech is all hardware dependent (duh)

I'll be going with the 4090. When do you think it will be available here? Oct 12th? Or maybe Nov 1st?

These Indian prices are more crazy lol,
3080 revised price is 66k so,
66000rs/699$(MSRP) = 94.5 conversion rate
4080 - 899$ (MSRP)* 94.5 = 85k
But the actual price is 99500rs, 15k more!
Did something change to increase import fees or what!
It's more likely a case of increased profit margins than taxes. Most of the companies do that.

That conversion rate is not linear. Taxes change as per price. Also since this is a cashgrab launch it's not targeted for mainstream gamers but only for people who want to pay that much without thinking twice.

3090 at 1499$ comes down to the same conversion rate. 141500/1499 = 94.4.

Agree with cashgrab, they just want to clear 3000 series. If what they say of 2x-4x performance is real then it might be a little less crazy but let's wait for the actual performance data.

Did they share any info on when lower-tier cards will be available? Judging from stocks of 3000 it won't be soon.

2080Ti was beaten by a 3070 or 3070Ti
3090Ti will be beaten easily by a 4070Ti

I am thinking that 4080 12GB will be a lot powerful for 4K Gaming finally @ Ultra settings in the current games or few games to come.

3090 was for ₹1,33,000 for $1,499 and now this is $100 dollars more than its ₹1,77,000? how? What are the phooking?

Ain't worth it.... Also the 12GB isn't really a 4080. Those fcukers have reduced CUDA core count by more than 2000 in the 12GB version (7628) when compared to 16GB card which has 9728.
Also memory bus is 192 bit vs 256 bit and TDP difference of 55W.

The performance will be significantly different between the two 4080 cards.
