obvious solution to a never ending problem

i have voted NO by mistake. (i assumed thread title to be ' Do you want him out of here?' :P)

I do not want him out.

He is good at getting deals and maintaining prices in control.

Competition is always in best favour of the customers.

All i oppose is mode of conduct. f he can take this as a feedback then i would request him to assign PR to deal with these issues. It comes down to business at the end of the day and th matter of the fact is that most people still buy from him regardless of rants.

I just wish he could make this work; maybe next decade.

@mods

please change my vote to Yes

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

I really don't have the rights to post anything here and i apologize in advance to the mods because this thread is supposed to be between dealer and customer. But TE has changed ( a lot), god bless the members over here. If its about money, please do tell, i for one can donate some amount to keep this forum running clean ( i am not kidding ).

@ Mods : Would it be possible for you to start a vote and see the responses for " Should Amarbir be on TE ?"

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

This fuss is over 6 days delay ! ??

:(

People need to understand that Lunx-india is not a company with thousands of employies. Its a firm run by a single person.

Shit happens.

He was out of town and could not deliver, you should understand that.

I have waited more than 4 months on a single order, cause of problems regarding posts , persons , etc.

still after that i give a +ve ratting to dealers, cause there was a reason behind the delay.

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

^^

He is the/a source for your expensive earphones/mp3 players. so even after 4 months u gave a positive rating. You need him again.
Thats not applicable to all i think.

there is no point in such a thread

If you'd have known that, why would you make such a thread in the first place? The least you should do is to stick to your beliefs and not change them to your convenience

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

LOL of all my gears only the miracle Have been bought from him .

And the 4 month delay was from another Dealer, not him . (outside of TE )

Its not about need, but one needs to understand that there are complications in the real world.

I don't think money is the solution to bringing an order and system on the forums. I think Safin is working on improving the present iTrust system. I would urge all the members to properly utilise the same.

As for the thread, we have one here - http://www.techenclave.com/general-talk/obvious-solution-to-never-ending-problem-184869.html

Please define 'clean'.

Then please elaborate on how your money is going to make the forum 'clean'.

Have you bought something from him on TE?

Have you had to suffer at his hands?

Was the one negative feedback in Amarbir's profile given by you?

If your answer to any of those questions is NO then you are a hypocritical wiseass and you do not have the right to ask something so preposterous.

If it is YES for all three, then I suggest that you ask others to follow in your footsteps.

and would have still give a positive rating if amarbir has promised you delivery and if your deal was completely based on the promise(terms and conditions) that you had decided before dealing?

it is not about delay; if you ever cared to read through.

and by the way... It's amarbir/dealer who needs to understand that there are complications in the real world before making baseless promises to customers who do not care for where and how he gets stuff.
Customer paid to amarbir based on what he represented and not how he gets his stuff.

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

@startegy

Then that dealer must have explained to u his real world problems and it was in a polite tone and most prolly extremely convincing. :)

And this dealer does things nail/bang/hammer/TNT/rock&roll/ball/rap style.

Yeah but he not "running away with people's money" shouldn't be the only concern.

There are few things here and there that I think if he can improve, it would be great for both him and TE. There have been a lot of instances where people have misinterpreted what he was really trying to say and vice-versa.

Sir, If you are reading this the main reason as I see it for the latest feedback thread against you is that there was no communication regarding you not being able to ship his parcel on the mutually agreed date. I can understand how your trip got delayed and as you didn't know before that rather than 1.5 days you'd have to be away for a week but after getting to Noida when you came to know that you will have to be there for a longer period than you thought earlier and this could delay shipping of tiwari's parcel you should have contacted him/PM'ed him regarding this and given him an option of a refund/international shipping etc. rather than coming back to Chandigarh and then trying to resolve this issue. Although yeah I feel the issue was exaggerated more than it should have been

Also if you have taken orders and you have committed to ship them/process them on a particular date and if you think you'd be not able to deliver as per your commitment due to urgent work you should make sure that you delegate this responsibility to someone else. OR if that is not possible then let the person know in due time so that he makes a decision accordingly.

Just my 2 cents, please take it as constructive criticism :)

What i meant by clean is not having these kind of dealers just for the sake of money and please refrain from using words like "wiseass".

And yes i have interacted with him but luckily for me i didn't purchase from him and opted for mediahome as he was rude when i inquired about the HDD.

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

^^ In my book, Work is what counts, not the words.

Yeah i know amarbir sounds rude sometimes but thats how he is. I know he does not mean it.

Some are not very good with words, some are.

IF Lynx was a big Firm making millions every month i would have agreed .

But as it is, its run by one person and Lynx is a small company.

if he says 5 days . it smeant to me taken as 5 +/- 20%.

hell even Klipsch takes double the time they promise to replace a product (personal experience )

As someone said, he brings deals and stuff to forums. so keep him. I for one ignore him.

Although i dont support that whole heatedly. He just brings earphones nowadays. and earphone buyers sing praises.

They NEED him. and that's the truth. period.

Re: Amarbir doesn't want to ship my product

lol, its up to you call it what you want.

But i have spent the last 5 years in NCR to know that people are different.

I have friends who sound like they want to kill you when they are actually praising you.

Haryana's tone is like that. I cant do anything about that.

PS: and i liked your commend cause i am highly amused by it :)

Maybe. maybe. I am not arguing with such stuff. Personal.

But please dont say that this dealers way of talking to people ALL OVER INDIA is correct. Maybe for that region as u say it might be ok.

Other places things go very differently. Very much.

Again I/we are barking up wrong tree and wasting time as someone said.

I am out.
