OC & Modding [OLD thread] *Official* TE Top 10 Super-Pi scores !

The boards are given back.. Ill have to wait for a good board for the Water Cooling to work its magic... The P5W-DH didnt allow me over 310FSB, with all the BIOS'es I tried.... not even 311x6.... So i thought, Id rather just raise the Multi...

RAM had 2.4V running thru it. Just the board was a earlier Revision, So I think it had a lot for kinks here and there.

Couldnt get the RAM to boot up @ ddr2-800 5-5-5-12 @ 2.4V even...

I got totally fed up with the P5W-DH...

Ram installed at the moment is Corsair value 2x1GB

The max it was done is DDR2 860 @ 4-4-4-15. Not bad eh :)

Hope one of our Members takes up the challenge ;) or better you push the envelope further and take on Adi's X6800 13 secs pseudo score :)

A question though, isn't there a separate system bus multi :S ?

Like at sotck its 266.67 x 4, so isn't the x4 variable ?
 
daym with those value rams u got those thats neat,wut freq are those rams orig at? 667? can u post some pics of the ram?

i onwder how hot do they get,did u use any cooling for the ram ?
 
can some one explain me in detail what are PI scores...and how does one check them ?what are they related to ?RAM or Porcessor ?

For how money much did u get the RAM kit ??
 
Super PI, is the test of your overall system.

CPU + RAM mainly. Motherboards, affect it as well.

We use it to measure how good the proccessor is. Lower the score, better it is. Ofcourse :p.

Higher Freq. on CPU and RAM, will get you lower scores.

The amount of L2 Cache will affect it as well. If you have an Allendale (2mb Cahce) @ 3 Ghz, and Conroe (4mb Cache @ 3 Ghz), the Conroe will be about 1.5 seconds ahead. IIRC (If I remember correctely)...

Scores depend on how high your speed is. How well youve tweaked your system (Mainly your RAM).

Run the 1m tests.

People run 32m Test's for Stability Testing.
