COD:MW2 at 30 dollars, worth it? (Although I guess I can find it cheaper in retail stores in India..?).
Tempted by Red Faction Guerrilla (5 Dollars) :ashamed:.

@Guys

Should I buy any JC2: DLC ? which one

Nope you can't, last I checked few weeks back it was way costlier locally.

re: Steam - Ongoing deals thread

MW2 won't be available locally, coz it's not officially available in India. From nextworld.in, one can buy imported copy for 2499 imo.

And AFAIK the attitude of finance dept of activision, it won't become cheaper then this. but it's definite that it will be available for this $29.99 price tag within/after next 2-3 months.

And IMO it's not worth buying MW2 right now, coz all players are shifted to Blops, and there wont be much available players for MP/co-op.

re: Steam - Ongoing deals thread

Well, this years sales have been a bit meh for me. Looks like I already have the games I'm really interested in . Anyway, got 2 Flatout games yesterday since the gameplay videos on youtube looked fun and it was dirt cheap.

BTW, Anyone from US wants to gift me a copy of Mass Effect 2? Its only $10 there, but $20 from here. I can pay upfront from Paypal or gift something else of the same value.

Edit: Got it now.

DC indicated his ICICI card charged far less, wonder why yours was so high. Yep luckily just small amounts here so hardly makes a diff.
well, i have a free card with no annual fees so i guess they make their money off me by using higher interest rates or something. otherwise who knows how they come up with their interest rates... we all agree that it's higher than what it should be, the only question that remains is how much higher they will go :|

re: Steam - Ongoing deals thread

hey prettt how did you get ME2, if you bought it on your own, can you guide me how to get it for 10 bucks mate?

While calculating the total amount charged you should also take into account the conversion fee and service fee. So some credit cards have 3 line items for a single transaction and few others have just one which includes all the 3 amounts.
