I dont understand the different pricing structure, we buy BF2:BC for $10.20 but in the US zone it available for $6 :( and same with ME2 here for $29 and there for $10. So unfair, I guess now I know they must be feeling when we get new games for like 1/3 the price they pay!

^I used my mom's canara bank debit card only. Didn't have any issues. If am right, you'll be able to pay as long as you have the 3 digit CVV number printed in the rear of the card.

my ICICI bank VISA debit card did not work :( :(

So, they put Street Fighter 4 on sale today for $15, not good enough I think...they've had it on sale before for a cheaper price. I bought Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition ($4) and Mirror's Edge ($5) instead.

Something's up with the Steam region lock settings. First time I opened the deal page Neverwinter Nights, Killing Floor and Lost Planet 2 were shown as "Not Available In Your Region". After half an hour Neverwinter Nights became available, and now Killing Floor just opened up. Steam servers screwing up region data?

Today's sales are meh. I would have expected more discount on NWN 2, its pretty old after all. KOTOR for $2.5 is a great deal though, amazing game it was.

I had actually bought Street Fighter 4 in last years Christmas sale for $10. Its weak that they are putting it this year for an even higher price.

valve isn't getting greedy - firstly - they dont put prices for the games on steam sales - the developer / publisher does.

secondly - sales aren't charity - they are part of a marketing strategy.

but i do agree to the opinion of some people here that last year's xmas sale was more awesome than this year's (so far)

Yup, I think I saw a thread in steam forums as well discussing the weird SF4 pricing. And, it reflects in the sales too. Serious Sam and Mirror's Edge are near the top in the top seller's list whereas SF4 is way behind.

Why do games through steam still have SecuROM though? :@

OT: If they charge different prices by region, why cant they just charge us in rupees. Jeez

Exactly !! B33ches !!! Got it for 10$ through a friend :D And it does not even have to be a gift. All he did was login to my a/c and everything reflected the US prices :@
