Oh you suggested it. Great find!!! Thanks!

guys always do a password protected group. thats safer and allows only known users to connect instead of booting idiots out:)

I was facing networking issues in NFSMW when connecting via Gameranger.. So I used to following config in NFS's server.cfg file to sort it out. It worked, so sharing with everyone:

#

# The server sends a ping message to the client every PINGTIME seconds

# and the client is expected to respond within PINGWAIT seconds or

# the server considers the connection to be dead and the client is

# logged out.

#

PINGTIME=20

PINGWAIT=5

#

# A client can only be idle for TIMEIDLE minutes before it is

# automatically logged out. Even if a client is not idle it can

# only be connected for a maximum of TIMEMAXM minutes.

# Either/Both values can be set to 0 to mean that the server will

# not timeout the client.

#

TIMEIDLE=0

TIMEMAXM=0

#

# Limits how many times per second the LAN server will service requests.

# Lowering this number will increase game performance for slower computers

# at the expense of sluggish response time from the server. Valid range is

# 1-1000.

#

LAN_THROTTLE=500

TRUST=255.255.255.255

TRUST_MATCH=%%bind("Your Static/Local IP address")

ACCOUNT=1

MASTER=1

SLAVE=1

REDIR=1

#

# This line allows the server to determine on what interface to listen for

# connections. It can be any publicly routable IP address (this is the case

# even if the host is on a LAN that is isolated from the Internet). There is

# no communication attempted with the IP address listed here.

#

ADDR=%%bind("Your Static/Local IP address")

I'm free from now.

Guys GameRanger is giving some problems. Overall it's pretty easy to configure and saves a lot of time. But it has the following problems:

Frequent disconnections.

Lags a bit more than Hamachi.

It's not as stable as Hamachi, few people reported getting some error & some reported game crashes.

NO In-Game chats allowed :( .

I agree with aman point to point.The disconnections are annoying and a dealbreaker.and anyways as we were not having any problems with hamachi,it think reverting back to it should not be a problem?

Today I played with Swastikrj and mrCOOL but both of them weren't online at the same time.

Sato wasn't online the whole day, but as he says he may come online after 10PM. If Sato , mrCOOL as well as SwastikRJ are online after 10PM then we'll finish our groups tournament today itself. I'll be online on HAMACHI for that. Please don't start without me as I may be out if I'm not replying.

Tomorrow and day after tomorrow we can finish all the matches. I'll play my match with Fahrenheit tomorrow.

EDIT: OMG I meant Faheem. Darn autocorrect.
