naah if its updating it clearly states in the my games menu that its updating... let the comp on all night yesterday .. all games 100% done...

will go home and finally finally play the games.. jst hpe i can connect to steam now :P
 
Well TF2 started downloading after 52%, still downloading from plast 8 hrs, why wont it resume installing from Disc 2!!

yep...took me more than 12hrs to install that with dwnload speeds around 25...Thats the way it is...
 
same here. i couldn't install tf2 from the dvds so i ended up downloading it from steam.

felt pretty stupid to be honest... anyone managed to get replacement discs yet?
 
The games install into the Drive>Program Files>Steam. If I move the folder into my games partition will it affect anything.
 
My Programs partition is only 10gigs. After installin portal there's only 1.5 left.
Will I have to re-install Steam then to make this change.
 
Just copy the steam folder to whichever drive you want and then reinstall steam in the new drive where you just copied the steam folder..all the games will work.No need to reinstall all the games.
