Does anyone knows whether getting it from SNS is a good idea ? I hear they the products much faster than ICC World and are cheaper

How much does these Ethernet Switches cost good ones ? reading the install guide it says check your Router DHCP assignment to identify the I.P how to identify without the router ? Just want to make sure before i order it would work without the need of router.

Thanks , yes i have RT N13U but wanting to get a more stable and open source device how good is wifi on Pogo plug Pro ?

I do not have the device with me but in the reviews i read Wifi is good and streaming via wifi is also great with both devices connected over Wifi. The pogoplug firmware is buggy though.

Anyways you will install arch linux over it so its better to get to know about the wireless drivers working from archliunxARM forum

Cheapest Gigabit switch i could find was 20USD.

For those of you planning to order through SnS, please note that the shipping weight of the item is close to 2.4 lbs so through SnS, shipping alone will cost about 1.3k plus if you order it directly the exchange rate is close to Rs 54 whereas ICC's rate is only Rs 51. On top of this there will be customs as well.

So right now, without even adding customs the cost has come to Rs 3000 through SnS whereas through ICC its 2.5k including everything.

Is there a complete tutorial on getting most things on PogoPlug , something which is technical in nature I can figure out the specifics since the guide posted on main page only has arch linux.I did checked archlinux forums not much of info there.

Also is Gigabit switch required ? Are these switches easily available ?

^^ The torrent client can easily be scheduled. Also, you can buy one those timers for 600-700 Rs. and you can start your box at 2AM and shutdown at 8AM.

It would be required for me since my modem does not have 2 Ethernet Switches
