Post your overclocks !

My rig is stable at 220x10=2200 Mhz with 1:1 ratio. My Transcend Ram is right now running at 220Mhz. When I tried to Oc to 235x10 with 333Mhz divider I get errors in Stress Prime. 2004. What might be holding me back? Doing this at 2.5-3-3-8
Whats the voltage that ur supplying to the CPU? As i said earlier, the K8N undervolts!

Looks like u got a dud cpu. Try with a 9 multiplier and higher HTT speed with a 5:6 (ddr 333) divider.

Nah CPU is ok did 2.4 easily on a NF4 board. I think the 1006 bios might be the culprit. I am able to do only 2.3 Max stable on this bios with 1.6v

I am able ti run my CPU at 2.5 GHz stable. If I update the BIOS to 10111 version(from 1009), will I be able to get a better overclock???

What do I look like??? A Bakra???

I am not trying anything with my system before knowing the other effects of it. But the way I am itching to update my BIOS, I will probably end up updating it soon.

Seriously, What is the usual trend??? Coz' I instantly got better results when I updated to 1009 from 1002.

Usually do CPUs oc better with the new BIOSes???

depends on the bios.. its not really recommended for you to keep on flashing your bios unless you really need to . best is to google a bit and check what results other guinea pigs have got with a particular bios revision before you flash your boards' bios ;)

Thats the best thing to do

well guys found the culprit to be my bios on K8N. If any one using ASUS K8N then dont use 1006 bios for OCing. It really sucks as i could do 2.3Ghz at 1.6v.

Right now flashed to the 1007.003 beta bios and i am able to do 2.3Ghz at 1.5v itself (stable i think as i ran prime for 30 min)
The only problem with this beta bios is although it shows the ram timings values that can be changed but in reality it does not and uses the autodetected values. so the ram is stuck at 3-3-3-8

Well it reached 2.52 at 252*10 at 1.7. Kinda very high volt also the temps reached 65 when i ran prime for 30 min so had to put it off. Well not bad considering its on a stock heatsink fan with no themal material :) was using a 333mhz divider.

DUDE!!!

I have an XP-120 and AS5. Masky was talking to Archish. I have an XP-120 which I don't think is installed 100% correctly. But I do not get full load temps above 51 deg C at 1.632V.
