Post your overclocks !

darklord.
have you tried if the hynix can handle voltages in range of 3.3V?
I am planning to mod my a8n sli to 3.3v vdimm.
3.0 is just not enough.

looks like it is a DUT3C barton.. it shud easily OC to 3200+ speed (2200MHz) with a slight bump in Vcore..

there is no DUT3C barton...it has to be a DKV4D......

Hey All..

This is my Oc or rather my Config :

So wat do u think ?

Decent attempt, could go further easily.

Well i went upto 3.2V,i guess if we put some heat spreaders,3.2V should not be a problem. :hap5:
But @ 3.2V it was a bit warm.Didnt push further.
Also i dont think it is worth modding such a good board.
Even if not for you but that board is high end and expensive,i also thought of doing these mods but then selling off such boards later could prove troublesome and warranty is another big question mark after such a mod is done.
Just my opinion, you can do it if you want to. ;)

AWESOME RESULTS Darky!!!! Really good....... Shows that the OCZ VX is really amazing.....
Huh ?????
That is on Hynix RAM.
And to make it clear,i have made it red and bold.If you still cant read it then.......

I was not planning to any soldering.
Just hook modding with insulating gel. Lets see. I am not sure myself.
I will test the hynix chips i have with 3.3V on DFI and see if they work properly and stable.
I am planning to keep my A8N SLI as there seems to be no buyers for the same.
I will post here with the results.

Sandy overclock in Mumbai's heat.

Hi, I am new to this forum, posting my 3700 SD scores. had it on prime95 for over 16 hours..earlier. Using TwinMos standard memory. Maybe i will get better scores with transcend.

Do let me know if there is anything i am missing.

Hi PCJedi
Welcome to TE
Plz introduce ur self in the Intro Section of TE.

Perhaps you are the only guy on TE with a 3700SD [Congrats]
Where did you get ur SD from & cost.

The RAM BW looks low , have you used a Divider for ur Ram.

Also which mobo do us have

Also TwinMos will be better than Transcend [If i aint wrong]
Orignal Hynix D43 Chip Based Hynix OC good , but u shud be lucky to get those

Hehehe

PCJedi frm TT;)

Not much to say, but ur GPU at 70C kindda looks odd.....which gfx is tht???
nd multiplier at x3??? ;)

havin probs at x4 ??

Which twinmos is it? Is it the UTT(1A4T,AA4T) or powerchip(AADT,CADT)? Look at the sticker on ur ram and u'll know. If its UTT, then the RAM can do a lot lot higher with better voltage. If not, use a divider. That cpu will definitely do better. Which mobo btw?

@PCJedi
whats the system config?
Fromt he looks of it he you seems to be already using dividers otherwise those are horrible memory scores you are getting there.
What divider you are using?
Timings and your system config will help :)

The Sandy files.

@ Chaos - The TwinMos is not utt :( Its a CADT. I checked that. I am giving it 3 Vdimm for it to run in 1:1 - not using a divider. at 2.95 or lower it needs a divider. I don't mean for boot, usually i only post if it is rock stable under prime and other stuff for atleast 12 hours. So booting or running a benchmark is not a goal, but getting it stable for over 12 hours...or 16 hours. Depends on how long i sleep :ohyeah:
I used a divider etc, but the cpu won't go any further.
The board is the Asus A8N-E - BIOS 1003.
@ Rockyme - from TT? I am from Mumbhai...Anyway..didn't know i was famous :D Also why does the GPU at 70 look odd..did you notice the clock's . Its a modded 6800GT.
The HT is 3 as defined my BIOS Mod, The BIOS thinks its a good idea to have it at 3, so i am not arguing with him.
@Quadmaster. The RAM is running 1:1 you may have noticed that from the Ntune settings.
Not all Hynix D43's are nice. Most available are with a U as the fourth character, that means that they don't last for long at anything beyond 2.7. By long i mean over 3 months. If you get a V then the D43 would be able to go to 3.5 without a problem. I didn't like the D43's at all. Strangely the TwinMos can take more voltage without a problem. and relaxing timings does not help at all..in fact on the specific Twinmos, relaxing the timings even prevents me from booting. The SPD info only states 200. very very strange. 2.5-3.3.8 2T anything slower, makes it worse.
And btw, thanks guys for the warm response.

Keep it at 1T. 2T sucks for A64. Thats why the memory scores look so bad. Even if it lowers your overall OC a bit, still aim for 1T. Agree with you that not all D43 is good. There are too many fakes in the market. However you won't reach much higher with Transcend either. Its got mosel vitalic chips that are worse than even that sucky powerchip you have.
