:sheesh: :sheepish: You are embarassing me..... It is just that I read this somewhere(TT) and it stuck in my mind and I always foloowed it. Whenever I was running some benchies, I used to defrag my disks and all that.....

And I guess the main thing as of now is that I cannot oc further due to the simple fact that I know I have reached the limit of my processor and my RAM is crappy to say the least..... But then, haven't actually had the time to oc my RAM to the limits.(this sentence is sounding like a record!!! I say this everytime....)

the only thing I need to be a pro oc'er is a good Venice or Winnie..... even with my A8V, I can manage.... my CPU and RAM is the main problem......

JM has posted a screenie of 1M Calculation that took 28 seconds.. :D not minutes.. :D
 
when u said 13s, i thot ur best score must have been 41s or something.. only later when i cross checked my own scores did i realise that 41s is toooo slow a time.. u shud be clocking 29~30s i guess..

Now what chips are those? Hynix D43 :S? Never seen hynix do such low latencies :|
 
Hm... interesting considering the fact that the folks at dfi-street say that the NF4 mobos have issues with hynix ram. Did you try overclocking it?
 
Nope ....just flashed bios....nd did this....
Yup read tht even the d5's rated at 500 werent running at rated speeds....

will try OC'ing in sme tme.... ;)

Well i dont want to sound rude but that ^^ can be easily called as rubbing salt on a deep and extremely painful wound. :(

Yo Darky ! Doubtlessly, that comin' from you is a real Honor Mate ! Like everyone here, I regard you as The Fearless Super OCer :hap2: !

Now, 11 out of 10 people here will agree with me that if you had gotten hold of a 0515 or 0517 chip, you would have by now casually pumped in 1.75V, tweaked the Hell out of it, and managed to clock it to 3.5G with a pair of Generic Transcend/Hynix RAM :clap: !

I swear that I got the courage to pump in juice into my CPU after I saw your fanatastic efforts with Winnie 3200+, clocking it to 2.8G. And oc-ing those Winnie 3200+s were lot harder than the Venices - Nikhil and I would know bcoz we are still hovering around 2.65G :P !

The Fearless Super OCer -------> Thats not true....i cant even take my Venice to 2.8G nor can i get 8 GBps on that VX,whats the use.
I guess i have lost it. :(
