not all Venice are Good.
Take my example,i had ADA3200DAA4BP 0518 APEW.
It could even get past 2.7GHz
Infact some refuse to go past even 2.3 lol :P
 
They are better than W9innies. but some Venice cores are worse than Winnies. Darky's earlier Venice was worse than his old Winnie.

It just depends on your luck. But generally Venice are better
 
@SCSI - Its all in the Steppings

We have a thread here in the CPU/Mobo Section called "Venice OC Database"
The 15th & 17th Week Venice OC gr8.

Darky had earlier got a 18th week Venice which was a dud donno how he got to 2.7
It was very hard.

He then got a 17th Week from Mnemonics Systems.
Many ppl here have that magical stepping Venice here.
Which has the capabality to reach 3Ghz with DFI + Nice cooler + user having patience.

Yep and he has some preety hard to find steppings with him somehow. Some very well known ocing steppings with him.
Hehe, Darky's mumbai visit paid up :P
It was nice he talk with Darky for first time on phone. Shame I had to go to college that day.
 


Nothing major... just that the voltage is one step down from my last post.... from 1.616V to 1.6 V.

And seems to be SUPER stable as you can see from the screenie :bleh:
