Speed - 3.5 GHz :bleh: [Oh yeah exact 1GHz OC]
Vcore - Stock [ Lol no option to adjust voltages]
Temps - 46C

This makes me feel this Chip has some juice.I want a OC friendly Asus board now.

i know that GF ..... but after 304 FSB my processor simply refuses to boot :( .... i don't know y .... i have tried the max vcore my mobo can provide 1.55v

no dude i have done 327x9 on the same mobo @ 1.55v ..... with 2MB PCI graphics card and powersafe 500w power supply but when i got GTX this problem started so i thot it will be coz of power supply but even with the TP2 its still there ..... with lower multiplers i have reached 340-345 FSB may be it can do more but i haven't tried ..... i just can't figure it out wat is the problem .... -?

The board i am using on Venice is on ASUS A8N SLI Dlx... I beleive the chip i have is a N Chip and not a T chip... So i dont think upping Vcore will not help me a lot... Though i will give it a shot once when i get a good cooling... Btw this is on a Stock cooler...

What exactly is a T chip and an N chip? :S

IIRC a T chip is a one which reacts to Vcore... Will go high on Vcore and wont go anything above Vcore for long if V Core is on stock... A T chip is considered to be a good Overclocker friendly chip... By overclocker i mean LN2 and DI stuff...

While a N chip will go High on stock Vcore and then after a certain point will not be stable if even you go insane on the core... They tend to die/crap/become unstable quickly on a little bit agressive Vcore...

Hope i got it right :)...

If you have not really paid attention I think Optys (in general) are a good example of N chips... look how well they clock at stock Volts.

Switch, my man... you have been reading as well heh?? Nice info :D
