My Pentium D 820 (Smithfield, essentially 2 Prescotts) gave me 3.73 Ghz @ 1.3850V.) You should get it stable at 1.4V really. Coz there isnt much of a difference in Prescotts.

I still haven't gotten it stable enough to hold 3.75 and benchmark. Any tips on how i can do this?

It will post as high as 3.9 but won't boot into windows..

@storm... Well... I was playing around with Ram :p... Was kidda lazy to go in the Ram settings and change the divider as on ASUS boards it opens up on a different page... :p

here is what am running my proccy at the moment, prime stable for 1 hr... will push more after sometime...

 
yeah seen that switch ..... nice OC .... but ur chipset fan is running @ 8881RPM :-O isn't that loud ..... me going to reduce the vcore again ,,, :)

E3 have tendency to oc upto 2.4-2.5ghz undervolting.

I think u will find few results pages ago of the same. I have got it perfectly stable at stock speed at around 1-1.1v if i remember correctly.

well the best i tried with my venice was 2.3 gig at 1.35v, havent gone any lower coz im trying to see the max stable speed this chip does... is 20th week venice btw, nothing too great..
 
well was running prime for some hours, about 4 hrs i think, dont remember exactly, see the pic and see what hrs it shows :S

any explaination?? :S

 
^^ ur CPU's screwed.. if i were u i wud run it at stock from now on.. n if u continue, it'll screw up ur board too .. :S ^_^ kekekekekekek
