CPU/Mobo Raspberry Pi queries

use any standard 5V 2AMP for pi, I m planning to use mi3w or nexus 7 tab adapter for it and i have xiaomi 10000 power bank also
Seems all the deals will soon be finish as they are not selling those gfx card,ram ,mobo etc anymore

Install Debian Instead, I looked at videos of installing Win 10 seems like crap running Windows.

Will try benchmarks , anyways my Odroid C1 is definitely faster than Pi 2
 
Guys who are already using Pi please tell which is the best OS for
1. Dedicated download box
2. Dedicated Media server
3. Download Box + media server

Guys, am getting an original Sony CP-AD2 charger from Ebay after HDFCSEPT11 coupon @ Rs. 600 shipped.

Says original with 1-year manufacturer warranty.

Should I go for it? or will there be a cheaper Lightening Deal than 600 bucks? I read here that the Sony CP-AD2 keeps coming in LD.

For now, I am in no rush.

In fact, I was actually thinking of getting a 2.5A charger compared to the Sony 2.1A.

Edit: Not interested in taking risk with Paytm offer.

Any suggestions?
 
I hope you guys know there is a compatible SD card which you need to use with pi else it may not work and this Evo is not in supported list and why do you need 32 gb

I will make a spy dvr for car...gonna catch those night scratcher.
Connect a nv USB cam or will mod a old cam with n300 wifi adapter.Put a custom made Linux for sole purpose of catching the f**ker.
 
I use Raspberry Pi 1 B with archarm with transmission CLI along with a SAMBA/FTP setup . I run it headless over SSH .
I have a 4 Port Powered USB HUB by BELKIN , WiFi Dongle , USB HDD 1TB WD , a simple case and heatsink.
I would say if you are a bit well versed with terminal you can use archarm , its the slimmest linux you would ever get . I recently upgraded to Raspberry Pi 2 B with the same setup . I can help you set it up , I dont use miniDLNA though.

Pasting my question again, as it was moves from deal thread to here.


1)Is there performance difference between headless and GUI setup? Because you'll have the Gpu rendering/working more in case of GUI setup.Which one is recommended?

2)should I use pen drive with it or memory card?. I'm using pen drive with my ddwrt setup right now and it's working great for past 2 years.
Why you guys post about using it with memory card only?.
Please explain.
