Probably the hype killed it for me. But seriously, it wasn't really a masterpiece some reviews had made it out to be. And the total bollywood style climax really ruined it for me. But still, coming out of bollywood, I would say its a pretty decent effort.

more than the hype, I think Hollywood spoiled the movie ... Hollywood's kinda been there done that :ohyeah:

just looked up this movie on IMDB... the plot,

A group of U.S. marines, under command of a renegade general, take over Alcatraz and threat San Francisco Bay with biological weapons. A chemical weapons specialist and the only man to have ever escaped from the Rock are the only ones who can prevent chaos.

reminds me of some Bolly movie with Ajay Devgan and some Khan ... forgot its name but even in that Ajay Devgan played a similar 'only man to escape from some place' role.

The movie is Qayamat starring Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan.

Sean Connery's role was played by Ajay Devgan...don't know why

Nicolas Cage's role was played by Ashish Chaudhry...yaaakkk !!

The movie was a scene to scene copy of the original Hollywood flick, with too much Bollywood drama thrown in.

complete waste...

Gave it an extra 1 merely because of the twisted end, extraordinary movie.

I think there are both english and hindi versions of this movie. Please go watch the english version, its really funny. There are a few dialogues in tamil as well, which crack you up.

Miss march-0/10-gross....really unwatchable!!!!
Before sunrise-7/10-i liked Before Sunset better....not that this isnt good but i watched the sequel first and like it better!!!
Fast & Furious IV-5/10-it was quite watchable, theme was slow and soem nice slow BG score; i liked it much better than the 2nd and third installments
 
Not a movie, but a documentary that I watched recently - Dispatches - Terror in Mumbai

This is a must-watch for anybody. I can't describe in words what I felt while watching this documentary.
