This is not the first time I've read similar remark from you.... and so far from your remarks I can understand that your and mine movie preferences are different. But you don't see me making stupid remarks on your choice, trying to prove that my choice is better than yours.

You have something to say about movie say it.. none of my business... stop making utterly foolish remarks about someone's personal preferences. It doesn't make you look any better than others, just more foolish.

All my opinions are facts and there is nothing you can do about it :P

Ftr I was calling the movie pathetic not you. There are many sentimental movies that aren't nearly as contrived as Million Dollar Baby and yet have great impact.

Love your ignorance.

Let me give you some facts :

Fact #1 : Million Dollar Baby won 4 Oscars including the best Motion picture of the year award.

Fact #2 : Million Dollar Baby rates 8.2 on IMDB with 120,208 votes and is ranked #151 on the IMDB top 250.

Fact #3 : Million Dollar Baby rates 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Ofcourse these are just facts, if you want my opinion, I think its a brilliant film and arguably eastwood's best work.

:)

Leave it Bluffy... the man who declares his personal opinions as facts, isn't worth arguing with.

You know how the saying goes... "Never argue with..." ;)

^^ that doesn't mean anything. There is no reason to hold stats which are just aggregated opinions in any higher esteem than personal ones.

Slumdog Millionaire for example has better scores in all of those areas but still remains a sorry excuse for a movie.

There is, because the opinion of 120,208 voters and several movie critiques holds more weight than just yours or mine opinion.

Slumdog Millionaire for example has better scores in all of those areas but still remains a sorry excuse for a movie.

Which again went on to win 8 oscars and is another brilliantly made film imho.

You are desperately trying to sound like a wannabe movie critique which is totally fine by me as long as you don't start declaring your opinions as facts. Either that or you are just delusional. :)
