Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

My Idiot Brother - 8/10 (Decent light hearted drama comedy - the role is played well by Paul Rudd)

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

The Devil's Double - 8/10

Tropa de Elite - 9/10 - Its like City of God. Deals with the drug dealers of the brazilan slums and Brazil special forces. I though it was better than City of God.

Now time to watch Tropa de Elite 2. Has got better reviews than the previous one in IMDB.

Dumb and Dumber : 10/10

Was watching this at 1 AM and laughing my a** off. Had watched earlier as a kid but had completely forgotten most of the funny scenes in the movie.

Die Hard 3 - 7/10.

Now that Die Hard series is about to end for me, here's my next query: I've never seen a single James Bond movie. :ashamed: Now since I've no knowledge about Bond films, I've trouble finding out which movie to start from. IINM, there are some pathetic James Bond movie, so I want to watch _only_ the gems and not a time-pass flick. Please recommend the movies which are worth it and in what order should I watch them.

I was never a fan of the bond movies. The earlier ones are really boring if you watch it now. The newer ones with Pierce Brosnan are equally bad. The only bond movie i liked was Casino Royale.

12 Angry men: 10/10

Earlier when the movie figured in many "Top 10 lists" I thought It was purely due to nostalgia, but then I realized it. It is so good that I never wanted it to end.

Spoiler ahead:

And the fact that there is no trick ending means it is eminently watchable again :)

Mujhse Fraaaaaaaanshp Karoge

7/10 Decent effort. Infact quite good.

Okay, so there are only 3 movies whose rating are greater than 7.5. Goldfinger (1964) - IMDb ; From Russia with Love (1963) - IMDb ; Casino Royale (2006) - IMDb . Will watch just these 3. In what order should I watch them, so that I fully understand them?

Dude.. u cannot miss Goldeneye.

And yes Die Another Day was another decently made movie offlate in the bond lineup.

I strongly advice against Roger moore movies. Detest him absolutely. But he surely had real stunners as female co stars.

Thanks for the replies. Dropped Goldfinger & From Russia with Love from the list(pathetic graphic). Lined in the two movies suggested by Spacescreamer. So, 3 movies in total. In what order should I watch them to fully understand them? The order they came out? , i.e. GoldenEye(1995) then Die Another Day(2002) and then Casino Royale(2006)? Any other Bond gems that I'm missing?

You shouldnt drop From russia with love and Gold Finger either.. :p

They are my fav ones. Start with FRWL. But mind you, both are old movies so dont expect out and out thrillers.

imo bond movies are pretty mediocre ones, with very few good ones out there.

Only the girls and the brand name of Bond sells them. Else i think Bourne beats the hell out of bond any given day.

+1, Bourne series is much more gripping.

However, Bond is better for female eye-candy ;)
