it is not necessarily dinosaurs, but same kind of visual effects.
Movies should be handmade not factory made : it is performing ART for all practical purposes.
Many feel the same way, I'm Not alone. Don't Blame Bollywood, Hollywood makes much more pathetic formula movies.

Very few movie critics will give impartial reviews. I trust friends and family members reviews more ; and so is for forum members opinions.

Oh don't give that 2hr enjoyment crap, Will you watch it again? If no, then it wasn't worth the first time also. I watched 3 shows back to back for Jurassic Park 1, but that's a different league altogether.

I expect something new, exceptional and exciting in every movie, in any aspect ; for that matter, effects, acting, screenplay, story, direction any one thing at least should be remarkable . Otherwise it's a waste of time and money. Nowadays there are plenty of options for utilizing those 4 hrs. I can afford one movie in a theater per month so I need to be selective.

Jurassic World - what were they thinking? A world filled with genetically modified Dinosaurs? Huh...my imagination can only stretch to a certain extent.

Mad Max Fury Road - 8/10 : Had never got around to see the earlier movies, but enjoyed the hell out of this movie. The action is balls-to-wall but you always have a point of view of things that are happening (unlike transformers). The sheer innovativeness of the vehicular props was crazy and the fact that most of the action was actual with minimal CGI is praise-worthy.
 
Haven't been posting much recently. These are the movies watched over the last 2 months or so.

Supermen of Malegaon - 8/10
This was on my to-watch list for quite a while. I am so glad that I finally managed to watch it. Beautiful.

Sinister - 5/10
Starts with a bang, ends with a whimper. Potential wasted.

NH10 - 5/10
I do not get the praise surrounding this movie. Anushka has acted well, but the movie was not well paced and was a big bore.

Magadheera - 6/10
Its an enjoyable movie. The effects were pretty good for an Indian film.

Jobs - 3/10
This one is a snooze fest. Ashton Kutcher was horribly miscast.

The Cabin in the Woods - 7/10
Started predictably like every other generic horror/slasher flick and then turned everything on its head. Very enjoyable.

Shutter - 5/10
I was hoping just the Indian remake had botched up. But this one wasnt any good either. Good concept, execution not upto the mark.

Battleship - 4/10
Board games don't make a good movie. Cheesy and predictable.

Gandhi My Father - 6/10
Its an hour too long. Good but gets boring at times.

Hunterr - 7/10
Well made and well acted. Script could have been much better. Some portions tend to drag.

Kai Po Che - 9/10
Beautiful movie. Loved it. The cast became the characters. SO much better than the source material.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster - 7/10
Nice and engaging watch.

Gabbar is Back - 6/10
Typical masala fare. Enjoyable one time watch. Needs trimming though.

Mausam - 4/10
Starts with a sweet love story, and then drags on and on and on and on and ......................

Mama - 7/10
Not your typical wham-bam horror. Slow but engaging. The kids were brilliant.

Haider - 8/10
Vishal Bhardwaj is back with a bang. Brilliant casting.

Dum Laga ke Haisha - 9/10
Wow. Absolutely loved it. Sometimes Yash Raj produces gems.

Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter - 3/10
Could have been a wtf film. Some good moments and good action make it bearable.

The Darkest Hour - wtf/10
Crappy movie.

Trespass - wtf/10
Nicholas Cage I understand but whats Nicole Kidman doing in such a bad B movie.

Yaariyan - wtf/10
How do such movies get made?

Men in Black 3 - 7/10
So much better than the 2nd one. Enjoyable fare for fans of the first MiB.

It Follows - 7/10
Not the usual horror flick. Pretty engaging and different.

Shootout at Wadala - 5/10
Has its moments, but overall an OK movie at best.

Jupiter Ascending - 7/10
I don't get the hate for this movie. It was enjoyable and sets up the character universe perfectly for future installments (if any after the abysmal box office performance).

Kingsman - The Secret Service - 9/10
This is what an action spy flick should be like. Move over 007.

Ex Machina - 6/10
Interesting but long drawn premise.

Fifty Shades of Grey - 5/10
Softcore porn interspersed with some dialogues.

Run All Night - wtf/10
Typical affair from the Liam Neeson factory.

Mortdecai - wtf/10
What was Depp smoking when he signed this.

Chappie - 6/10
One time watch, but the RSA ghetto setting is getting too much now.

Whiplash - 8/10
Never knew that a movie about a drummer could be so good.

Welcome 2 Karachi - 4/10
Remove all the songs and trim it down and hour or so to make it watchable.

47 Ronin - 4/10
I guess Keanu is taking whatever offer comes his way.

Jurassic World - 7/10. Excellent visuals. Time pass movie. Watched it for entertainment and got it. Agree its a bit silly at times but i don't care!!.

Watched "Zero Dark Thirty" again. What a movie. Jessica Chastain is incredible.
 
Terminator Genisys: 6/10

Unnecessarily convoluted, but danerys is cute af and decent action all around. Obviously not as good as T1/T2/The tv show. It reminded me of old 80's action flick with updated sfx.

Jurassic world 7/10.
I felt the ending was like transformers.
Effects were good. But now with dna genetics manipulation they seem to go the Resident Evil way.
I don't want to see some zombie dinos in next part.
 
Terminator Genisys - 5/10

Went with very low expectations based on reviews, the movie had some decent action, nothing out of the ordinary, they tried to do a Nolan with the plot but failed miserably, Emilia Clarke is really good.

I wouldn't say they tried a Nolan with the plot. Rather, it was just a way of ensuring they have the freedom to go in different directions for the upcoming installments.
Now they have enough ammo to cook up stories for the past, as well as future, events. Just my 2 cents.
