Dor - 8.5/10
Never knew what and how i was missing out with this movie. Nagesh Kukunoor really came through with this one!
Lead actresses.. Lajawaab!


Manorama Six Feet Under - 7.4/10
Stellar cast, good acting.. but the director being wet behind the ears shows. Editing could have been more slick.
Not a total disappointment though.
 
Hayao Miyazaki is a pioneer in the animation industry, even if you don't like the story it's always a treat to watch the art unfold on screen.
Not knowing Studio Ghibli is like not knowing Pixar.
 
Unfriended - 6.5/10
Never thought I'd actually like another 'found-footage teen-slasher' flick, but this one has a genuinely innovative concept. The movie takes the premise of cyber-bullying and wraps it up with our online fears with all the action taking place on a single computer screen through chats, video calls, FB etc. Although the actual horror bits didn't feel scary enough, it's still worth a watch for the interesting concept which is well-handled.[DOUBLEPOST=1441775092][/DOUBLEPOST]

The Wolverine - 7/10
Far better than the first one. Enjoyed the action and the drama.

Warm bodies - 7/10
I somehow missed watching this earlier. It's darkly funny, cheesy and charming at the same time. Kinda twilight with a zombie twist, just far more enjoyable. I usually like such self-aware stuff.

Phantom - 6/10
The action and idea were good but the actual execution not so much. Felt incoherent at times with unnecessary back story and drama added. Baby and D-day on similar lines were far better.
 
Divergent - 6/10
Similar in look and feel to all the others in the genre. Just about an OK watch.

Insurgent - 4/10
Goes downhill after the events in Divergent. Feels way longer than its running time.

I - 6/10
Full marks for Shankar's vision and the actors. But, it feels unnecessarily long. Songs are not required at all.

Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 - 2/10
Tries too hard and falls flat. Bad sequel to an Okay first part.

Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho - 4/10
Opportunity wasted. Could have been a brilliant satire. It gets confused about the direction it should follow and ends being a mish-mash.

Bombay Velvet - 5/10
Everything top notch, except for the story. Too long, needs some serious trimming.

Guddu Rangeela - wtf/10
The plot keeps on jumping from one thing to the other. The director doesn't seem to be able to make up his mind.

Dharam Sankat Mein - 5/10
Poor copy of The Infidel. Could have been way better.

ABCD 2 - wtf/10
Its a jarring POS. Stay away from it.

Spy - 7/10
Enjoyable. Watched a decent comedy after quite a while. The penis scenes were a put off, but it recovers well after that. Jason Statham is superb.

Night crawler - 8/10

Damn night crawler was good
Some serious negotiation skills...
Gotta re watch those parts and work on honing up those skills.. Gotta be helpful
 
Phantom - 4/10
Could have been a decent watch, if not for the horrible casting. Saif and Katrina don't fit their parts.

Fantastic Four - wtf/10
Makes the previous Fantastic Four films look like masterpieces.
 
Maaya (Tamil) - 7/10
A decent horror movie. Stands out among the recent flood of movies of this genre in Tamil industry. Reminds a little about Nolan type movies where black/white and color sequences are used to denote different aspects of the plot. Plot gets a little twisted and confusing towards the 2nd half, and keeps you trying to analyse it after the film is over, which is probably what the director wanted. Worth a watch.

Worst and bakwaas horror flick ever made. Nowhere near to Conjuring.

Good that this shit wasnt released before Conjuring else Conjuring. would have flopped as well!!

The book is epic. Pretty exited about the movie. Going for the first show tomorrow.

Watched a couple of movies recently:
Terminator Genisys - 6/10 (Average),
Spy game - 7/10 (Enjoyed the movie).
