Finally cleared the backlog.
Vacation -
4/10
Don't bother
Absolutely Anything -
6.5/10
Has a couple of funny moments, TP movie + Kate Beckinsale is aging like fine wine.
Inside Out -
9/10
Masterpiece. Most of the animated movies in the last 4-5 years felt a bit too childish, that wasn't the case with this one.
Also it's good to see Pixar return to form, they still have the ability to pull at your heartstrings. Bing Bong <3
The Man from U.N.C.L.E. -
6/10
Had high expectations since it's directed by Guy Ritchie but it had this B-grade, cheesy vibe that I wasn't expecting. Maybe they were going for the feel of the TV show on which it's based ?
Neither boring nor exciting, just a slightly above average flick. Also I spent the entire movie trying to remember where I'd seen the female lead (actress who played the robot in Ex Machina).
Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation -
7/10
Typical big budget popcorn flick, has all the elements we've come to expect from this series, least intimidating villain though.
Hollywood went bat shit crazy with spy movies this year, there was Spy, Kingsman, U.N.C.L.E, this and now Spectre, at least they were all very different in tone.
Ant Man -
7.5/10
Enjoyed this way more than AoU, I feel that most Marvel flicks take themselves a bit too seriously even though it's a pretty silly universe. This one didn't pretend to be otherwise and the tone was light-hearted throughout the entire movie, heck the final sequence included Thomas the tank engine.
I didn't have any expectations for this one since Paul Rudd never adds anything to the movies he's in but he fits the character pretty well.
Waiting for Sicario and The Martian in the meantime, both should be out before the end of the year. Any reviews for Heist and Everest, worth watching ?
Still haven't decided if I want to catch up on all the Star Wars movies before The Force Awakens releases, here's a guide if someone is in the same boat as me.

P.S. Hateful Eight, The Big Short and The Revenant have all been garnering positive reviews as well, looks like the year is ending on a high note.
