75Gb limit per month? If thats the case it's good.

However this might be the final 4G plans

INVITATION SYSTEM

“They want the first 3-4 lakh users to make maximum use of the network and subject it to as much abuse as they can, so that they can get an idea of how robust it is,” said an industry observer.

Many believe the company could take a leaf out of the playbook of brands like Facebook, Yu Televentures and OnePlus, which use an invitation system to overcome the challenges of scaling.

In fact, the invitation system is key to the success of Yu Televentures and OnePlus as it helps the companies keep costs under control while managing customer expectations.
Without the invite system, the customers of the above companies would have been disappointed with service quality as there is no way that OnePlus or Yu could offer phones at current prices without putting in place huge manufacturing set-ups. (Price are low because the rate of manufacturing commitment is low. Low-scale operations enables the company to stretch out the manufacturing over a longer period and recover its costs effectively.)

More about VoLTE. So digging on the web, VoLTE needs 3 things, the network to support it, the device hardware to support it and that be it be enabled through software. The sim that is being offered to reliance employees currently only supports VoLTE devices. meaning calling feature will not work and only data connection will work. This is quiet a bummer as many devices right now are not VoLTE enabled. I was under the impression that if VoLTE is supported by chipset then it will be supported by device. I talked to motorola customer service and they informed me that moto X play which is snapdragon 615 does not support LTE. their LYF brand phones which support VoLTE are snapdragon 615 so clearly motorola hasnt enabled it through software. Bummer

Reliance Jio all set to launch commercial 4G services in more than 500 cities and towns on January 14

Will be available only with their Lyf handsets, which will come bundled with 4G Sim cards.
The cities where the services would be available include the metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, besides including most of the tier 1 cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Surat, Pune, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Kochi.

“The Jio tariff plan is going to be disruptive in nature. Jio would be offering around 20GB of data free coupled with heavily discounted devices. The price of MiFi devices is likely to be less than Rs 1000,” says a company source on condition of anonymity. The services would be available for less than Rs 500 per month. The company would be launching Lyf devices based on the four elements of life: Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

The company launched services for their more than 100,000 group employees of Reliance Industries in December 2015. It was expected that Reliance Jio will launch 4G services only by March or in the second half of this year. The company’s archrival Bharti Airtel has already launched 4G services in around 300 towns and cities.

Airtel is also investing heavily in upgrading and modernizing network. Vodafone India and Idea Cellular have also launched 4G services. However, the scale of RJio’s 4G services means that it is likely to be extremely disruptive. The company hopes to launch 4G services for almost 80% of the country’s population in the first phase of launch.

Haha, however bad they maybe with pathetic customer care I use MTNL couse I just want a simple and dirt cheap network, I just want a good connection for WhatsApp and browsing for which I use 1GB 3G for ₹150 which is the cheapest among all the operators. Don't need insane speeds on mobile to stream HD p0rn while I travel in bus. :p
