The incident really had nothing to do with TE as such, apart from the fact that Mr E was one of us.
While it should be a reminder that it could happen to any one of us, It could happen anywhere.
In the meantime, the reference to TE has been removed from the original post on team bhp

Very sad for the loss. 
But a bit relieved to read that they were not bodily harmed.
I hope the victims are able to get back to as normla a life as before asap.
A lot of important stuff has gone which could be misused.
Has this crime been notified to the authorities?
Also a very scary eye-opener for people active on forums.
People coming home for audio/pc/etc demo/help is not very uncommon.
