Actually I am not. I dint get my Microsd card ordered from Flipkart. Their CC says its out of Stock. But at the other side they are still selling the same product online on their website. I ordered on June 22nd.
 
Guys, do all HD7 covers fit this phone perfectly? I want to get one for my dad but the trouble is that Dad is never around in the daytime when I can get the cover.

Any link/idea about the covers? I need a case. A bumper case preferably.
 
quick question to all owners....can anyone please post some clicked pics in dark light with normal settings ( actually normal camera app doesnt let you twist much settings).

The pics that I have clicked in my room in the evening with a tube light on are are extremely dark, filled with noise...

and I also tried to capture some pages from a book with different settings , but in none of the images could the words be captured clearly, this has never been the case , even with lower res camera...

hence I need to figure if there is sumthing exceptionally wrong, or its the same with everyone and we learn to live with it.

Please post some pics under different lighting conditions ....this would really help not only me , but also anyone considering to buy the phone .

Any software suggestions which can make a dramatic difference

Damn that's an awesome review. This seems to be the VFM king at the moment.

Can an owner who has upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.4 comment regarding the battery life? A SAR rating would also be nice. TIA

If you guys can answer my following queries i will be very grateful to you

1. How is the voice quality on phone when you are actually making phone calls? Is it loud enough to be used in buses, trains etc.
2. How loud is the morning alarm?
3. How is the touch screen response? I mean I know it is capacitive, but is the screen senstive like samsung or slightly less like lg? If you can, pls compare the response to any touch phones you have used before.

Hi Guys,

I'm a new member to this forum. I was considering buying this phone as at the current price it gives the best value for money. But there are a couple of things because of which I'm confused now. Request your guidance:

1. Some people have reported that the phone becomes very hot when doing CPU intensive tasks. Could someone please let me know if this is something that can be taken care of by upgrading to GB which might result in judicious CPU utilization?

2. The camera may not be top notch but is it good enough for occasional photography? I would like to know about the Camera lag and TAT when taking still photographs and also if there is an option for taking photographs in a burst mode.

3. Samsung Galaxy S is available for a price of 18980/- from IndiaPlaza.in (6 months vendor warranty 8 GB version for a price diff of ~ 5K). Would it make sense to go for the same since:
a. the GPU PowerVR SGX 540 on Galaxy S is far superior to Adreno 205 on this phone
b. AMOLED display of Samsung Galaxy S against LCD here
c. Cyanogenmod support for Galaxy S as against no official Cyanogenmod for this and also the official GB upgrade is in the offing.

4. What about the accessory support for this.. do we have a leather case, scratch guard and the micro HDMI cable available for this from Spice?

Finally going through reviews and posts here just now bought this beauty from a nearby spice hotspot in bangalore..
Have kept it now for charging, it has a red light indicator in earpiece to indicate charging, good one!..
Must say it has decent looks and touch is pretty responsive and screen quality is also good..
Still lots left to check in it but must say Best VFM in market currently..!!
