Don't know about the official but I found the link here Goto Post #491, someone has posted a link direct to media fire and he in turn got the link from kaskus forum (Indonesia), but I can tell from my personal experience that although there is bit of bloatware from the Spice CSL but it is very stable (I found it more stable than Cherry Magnum on my phone)

Cherry Magnum 2.3.4 updates are useless.... eat battery a lot..... Today only I have switched to CSL 2.3.4 updates..... will post the my observation by tomorrow.....

Cherry Magnum 2.3.4 updates are useless.... eat battery a lot..... Today only I have switched to CSL 2.3.4 updates..... will post the my observation by tomorrow.....

guys can you tell me how to change user agent in the browser ? I cannot seem to find advanced settings in its settings page !! X(
 
I purchased it from a dealer in warangal if anybody wants a group buy please inform me he will make discount and he is the manager of spice at warangal
 
ok so that useragent thingy didnt work also im having problem with my contacts being synced with my accounts ... this is stupid ... i hadnt tried on froyo but this cherry mobile rom is giving me troubles ... any other gingerbread roms out there ? I googled and found 2 more but 1 of the was corrupt so dont wanna download and mess up my phone .. please tell me if there are more versions of this gingerbread ?!! ?

which one of them you found corrupt?
 
After searching endlessly on net for user reviews of this phone i cant believe it was present right here on T-E itself !
I was looking for a new phone in the range of Rs 14.5k and the specs of this phone has really impressed me . I have two options this or the motorola defy ! , this one cost 1k less then defy .
So please , please answer my questions guys
1 : Anyone reported any hardware failure ?
2: How is the screen , i know its not gorilla glass like in defy but is it atleast strong and not cheap plasticy ?
3: Hows the music quality via headphones ? I have good in-ear headphones BTW ( philips she9800 )
4: Is the camera good for casual photography ?
5: Finally the most important , is it better then the defy ?

I have gone through this entire thread but still asked these questions because i would be spending 14k on SPICE ! Just needed some peace of mind :)

If you are thinking to pay for spice then don't go...... but if you think to pay for good hardware with good features then go for it.

1: Till not on forum.....
2. its not cheap plastic one, looks great....
3. Music quality is good, with Spice provided head phone..... if you have phillips one you will enjoy more...
4. for casual one OK.
5. ??????? :huh: (can not comment)

i dunno which one is it .. here is the name of the actual file >>> FB0-318D-0-5012-A03.nb0

after i wiped my data and cache .. i did download nb0 and gave me some error .. i was ****in freaked out that my phone was bricked .. but that only deletes user data not the firmware :p >.> ...

This is Spice CSL Gingerbread 2.3.4 Final (May be downloaded from Mediafire), but I'm using this and it is not corrupt, Can you tell me the basis of assuming it corrupted? aren't you able to flash it or what?

for what price did u buy dude? at what price can we expect from the manager if we plan for GO?
 
One Big issue Today I was getting a call, Then suddely the call got disconnected before I picking the phone. Then when I checked I saw The whole screen is Green, Then after few seconds I can see only half the screen rest all is green color. I was trying to swichoff But was not happening. Then I removed the Battery and Placed it back after few minutes. Then it was again working fine. I dont know what is the issue. I am on Cherry 2.3.4
 
Hi Everyone. I went through this thread from beginning to end. It seems people love this phone and so far no bad failures. This phone looks like a best value for money considering its hardware similar to G2, My Touch 4g or even Inspire 4g. Being from US and just recently moved to India, I do not know a lot about Spice and its reputation. Also some of my friends are advising me to stay away from Spice, even though this model is re branded Huawei model. How is the customer service after I take ownership of this phone? Can spice be trusted? I know Indian warranty claims are different, but will spice help me in case of software, hardware failure and also manufacturing defects without hassle?
