Split AC - Mumbai

Finally bought the Hitachi Ace 1.2T split from Vijay Sales for 28k without exchange. Thought it was a super deal.

How about installation charges?

My option is Carrier estrella 1.5 split very good EER 3.42 Later i heard hitachi parts are of poor quality lots of gas leakage problem in their units. Congrats for the purchase

I paid 8.5k for installation charges for my Misubishi - the distance between the 2 units is about 10 metres However cooling is still good.

Also which shop did you get that AC from? Any good service shops in Mumbai ought to have a mention in here.

Installation will be extra 1300 incl taxes which will be paid to Hitachi directly.

A 12 feet copper tube is included with all ACs. Anything extra will be charged.

8.5k???why so much

The shops bill says -

Installation Charges = 1500/-
Copper Pipe 30ft@Rs180 = 5400/-
Cable Wire 35@30 = 1050/-
Stand for outdoor unit = 3500/-

Total = 11,450/-

We bargained like crazy and brought this charge down to 8500/-

The shop we got the AC from is Hillway opp Bombay House at Flora Fountain, Fort. This has not been a good purchase, the AC/s front panel was received full of scratches and we had a lot of problem in getting it replaced.

Voltas is much better than LG and samsung.
Voltas compressor is no1.
so according to me u sud opt 4 voltas.
