could you please suggest me the best possible lcd monitor for 15K?
17 inch would be fine
also is 8ms fine for gaming??
please suggest me site where i can buy online

You can get the Samsung 940N for 15.5k, thats a 19" LCD, you can get a 17" LCD for less than 11k now days.

Any LCD monitor having a response time of 12ms and below can be considered for gaming.

BenQ FP71E+ - Excellent LCD for Gaming. Note the model no. is FP71E+ - it has 8ms response time, there's a cheaper model FP71E with 12ms response time.

Get the samsung 19" widescreen or the viewsonic 19" widescreen and forget about 17"... You will be one happy camper ...

if you look hard enough you can get both of these for under 15500... ...

yeah, since your original budget is 15k, you should have a look at the 19" models suggested by switch rather than going for 17". If you want a normal aspect ratio (4:3) display, then try the Viewsonic VX922. I dont know the current pricing though.

Also no point in going for a Dell for 17 or 19" Models. you will be better of with Samsung or Viewsonic.

^^Samsung 740N is blurry garbage... Get the Viewsonic VA1912W or the VP720b if you want a 4:3 17" monitor.

Anish that model is a POS... you wanna see LG see the 1720B, that was an S-IPS panel, with great colour and contrast this is a TN 6 bit.

Switchy has the 740N...

I recommend the 940BW, looks great... (by look I mean the quality of image not the monitor ) some may beg to differ. The viewsonics are supposed ta be better. I've never tried. If you can get a dell for that budget go for it eyes closed...hyeah:
