Judging by the kind of spins that the BJP is trying to impart to simple statements by the libertarian leaning Prashant Bhushan, they (the BJP) really doesn't seem to have confidence in its ability to fight the AAP on issues by bettering them.

Prashant bhhushan merely suggested that the local people may be consulted (possibly through referendum) on the deployment of army for domestic law and order issues in Kashmir. Further, he has consistently stood up against the draconian AFSPA. Both are just expressions and opposing them makes me wonder if the opponents would see the similarity between the AFSPA and the laws used to oppress the Indians during the british rule under the same argument of the "Great british empire's sovereignty and integrity".

The state exists for the individual well being of its citizen. It becomes pointless when it exists at the cost of its' own people's liberties.

^^Succinctly put. This reminds of Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."

Similarly, "All Aadmis are Aam, but some are more Khaas than others."

People in Delhi have right to protest against the government's policies, but if the same happens in Kashmir or any of the North-Eastern states, then you can be shot without any consequences. Wouldn't that create a more hostile environment? The people living there would definitely harbour negative intentions against the government for showing favouritism.

If only people could understand the difference between patriotism and nationalism.

Until i see their Manifesto for 2014 LS elections, i don't think i can blindly support them. Just corruption cannot be their agenda. We need to look at Economic, Defence as well which i am not what AAP thinks about. If they are "communist/socialist" our country will go back 50years.
The worst situation would be, AAP winning 50-60seats and supporting Congress to form the National Govt along with SP/BSP/RJD and likes. If this happens god save us.
 
Doesnt take much to launch a "donation campaign." And not everyone in pakistan is an india hater. That feeling lies mostly among the political and military class.

AAP is doing their canvassing by using news channels. recently IBN7 editor Ashutosh erstwhile congress sympathiser has joined AAP.
anything and everything they do is being touted as being done for the first time in the indian politics ;)

PS: for others who are unaware, the congress in mumbai has won(secured their vote of slumdwellers) by providing free water, electricity to the slum dwellers.
in short catering to the majority% of the voting public.
i See similar schemes being applied by aap in delhi to atleast secure their future with respect to that.

with the number of scams the congress is being accused to , they needed a fresh face which does not have the baggage of corruption dragging them.
AAP seems that alternative, to carry forward their agenda using a proxy.

AAP should try to do something about this.

Aam Aadmi Party is the worst thing to have happened to Indian politics, and I cant wait for their ass to be raped in Haryana state solls.
 
I think people are being over critical of aap. It has just been a few days. Give kejriwal time to know the intricacies of ruling a govt. And given his passion to serve, he will catch up quite quickly. In the worst case, we may find out the man had best of intentions but dint have the capability to become a good leader. That is also fine as he can then serve country in other ways. You can take the man out of india, but how will you take india out of him :) . The devotion of this man borders on spiritual and is one of the few things that makes me proud to be indian.

How do you judge intentions??

AK is just power hungry . He didnt listen to his idol Anna Hazare when he told him not to get into politics. And the thought of not getting the power was too much for AK, so much so that he took support from Congress, against whom he had fought the elections.

And 1 more thing, where is the "sabooton the file(file of evidence)" which he had against various Congress ministers?
Uske jhadu ne usko bhi toh saaf nahi kar diya?(Has his broom swept away the file too?)
