This looks like Chinese propaganda against the Japanese prime minister who is the chief guest on Republic Day.
Yep, it's 1942 all over again :D

AK clearing the debate with a cool mind here:

Hmmm... the benefit of doubt makes me lean towards AAP, but I'm not sure.

Woah the media has take the battle up against Kejriwal. TimeNow constantly calling it AAPdrama. What ever happened to unbiased reporting.

Jeesus people, "Somnath Bharti and his so called goons were call by the residents association over there. He asked the police to get a warrant while some officers stay and monitor the scene. The polica officer refused to get the damn warrant! How is this anarchy?

If tomorrow there is a drug and sex racket in a flat in your society going on for year, would you let the police ignore it? Or if someone close was hurt and the police wasnt taking any action? What happens when the Law minister himself is ignored? Hasnt a line been crossed? Home Ministry incharge of the Delhi police has no connect with the people of delhi and neither elected by the people of Delhi nor is it responsible for Delhi administration.

Its like your neighbour having the keys to your flat. They control the access for some weird reason.

This is plain bizarre, and idiots are calling an agitation against this as Anarchist? When the ministers have the will to act, they will still have to sit in their houses cause Shinde has control of the Delhi police and doesn't give a shit if someone's sister is burnt or raped!

The case of a woman burnt in delhi few days ago was systematically buried by the media and Central govt to make sure a Damini kind of situation doesn't arise and the Congress doesn't get pelted again.

Don't believe the regular trash that the channels are spewing. Some are playing to the agenda of their patrons and others are just creating sensation.

AAP is anti-corporate (the big ones, not all) too. So, the media will definitely spin news against them, politically supported or not.

That witch hunt was bad. They even shut down a 24/7 store. That place (store) is like 30 seconds away from my house. Nothing wrong with both the localities. Such f****** retards. When ever I see Somnath's face in the news, I wish I could slap him hard. All that the AAP is doing, to gain media attention and stay in the limelight. It is worse than T&T (Tharoor and his Toots...sorry Tweets). F****** idiots. Ministers and high ranking cadre should be kept away (literally banned) from the media/social blogs/and the web. Cause they do not know jack-about these mechanisms and use them incorrectly, where as the output channels show-case them like monkeys and baboons in a cage. Resultant: the city (or nation) suffers. I open today's TOI and see ArvKej lying next to his Wagon R in a quilt, with a grin. Groan..almost threw up on my Horlicks (yes, I drink it in the morning -still- do).

They actually arent anti corporate, they are anti crony capitalism. Something like the Adani- NaMo nexus. Giving away free land, throwing around officials to suite their interest or mood. Its a big issue in our country. We all know the whole, uncle in influential position thing.

This way, we will soon be West Bengal. All of India.

Have you seen the complaints of the residents spread over months? Have you gone and inspected them professionally? How can you even just claim that there is no problem? LOL This is hilarious man.

To clarify, its an alleged Sex and Drug scandal. Unless they are exhibitionists, they probably arent doing it in their balcony.

No actually that wont happen if you have a proper policy for corporates that is transparent and good. The Gujarat govt bought the Land for Tata at astronomical prices and gave it ways almost for free! Is that what you want? Your taxes being used for providing land to corporates? Come on, atleast read up the facts!

Have you..?

I live in that vicinity and been in those areas umpteen times. Yes, there are a lot of people living there, from the African continent, but you saw the way the "raid" was done. That is hilarious at the minimal. If you are from Delhi, I can explain you where I live and have lived, and why I would have a decent understanding of what I am saying. Oh, and by-the-way. I lived in Khirki Extension, ~4 years. Where the Kangaroo Court was implemented some nights ago...! LOL. Happy, now...? I still have some relatives who reside there. My house is 30 seconds away from the 24/7 which was closed. I pick up milk cartons from there. You think an establishment of that accord would operate without a license. The AAP minister said, there were pubs running beyond operational guidelines, at the complex. 24/7 is not a pub..? Or is it..? LOL.

Like this anything can be concocted, but that does not mean people (ministers) walk in with local residents and show-case the behavior which was observed. They chalk up a list based on civilian observation and move-on. Sounds like the days of the Third Reich when the Jews were hunted out. Weird, is it not. You feel safe hearing all this, would you feel comfortable living nearby to such people, localities. I would not. Ministers who are gungo-ho and trigger happy. Why was this not done during the day..?

There is no proper policy. Even if there is, it is not implemented or followed through to the core. I just want industry to thrive and the common man not be exploited. Irrespective who reads up the facts or is told to do so.

Its a Resident welfare association that was complaining, not a few people. Buying milk cartons takes 10 minutes, do you say you can do a drug sweep of their apartments standing at the milk shop? Assess the people coming and going whole day for customers or normal people? Come on man, even those who investigate leave more scope for error than you are leaving.

When the police decline to take cognizance of your complain what do you do exactly? They called the police, they came, and instead of getting a warrant for preliminary search, they just denied. I mean if you thought someone was getting killed in the flat beside you, would you like if the police just said on the phone that no one is getting killed?

Yes Somnath Bharti got over zealous, but what do you do when the police declines to act and work for the people who have voted you to power? If the police had done its job, there would be no issue.

The policies HAVE TO BE MADE. They are not in place already cause its helps the politicians and their cause. How else do they get patronage from Corporates unless they can do favours for them?

The milk cartons were from the 24/7, which was hob-nobbed by the group during a similar time-period when the raids happened at Khirki Extension. You understand what a 24/7 is..? It is a utility store / grocery store..? Not a drug peddling site. It is smack in the middle of a huge complex which hosts a PVR multiplex, how could they mistake that for something else. I was just highlighting the audacity of this honcho-group, when I mentioned the 24/7, which was not at Khirki Extension, but at Saket. Shows their outlook and boorish behavior, which we all thought would be given-away once the AAP comes in, but alas...!

24/7 = Utility store at Saket PVR Anupam Complex.
Khirki Extension = residential colony attached to Malviya Nagar, and bordering Saket from the back side.

The police denied the RWA..? Please come into Khirki Extension and see what actually it is. It is just a myriad of houses which are still trying to get government regularization (though I think it has been approved)..! I doubt it even has an authorized RWA. Nevertheless, the police are not supposed to deny such claims, but they should investigate. And AAP being in power and having the legitimate tools, could have handled this in a more civil and docile manner. The people accosted in this act, were treated in a virile and spiteful manner full on condemnation...! The ladies were made to urinate out in the open, cause they thought, they might run-away. Are they animals..?

No, Somnath did not get over zealous. He just acted like a dumb-ass and took the law in his hands, in this momentous display of strength he show cased the weakness of the: AAP.

Then they should start to make policies and put in due governance, instead of sitting on roads and disrupting daily life and ADLs. The former got them where they are, now it is time to deliver, instead of trying to be Crazy Diamonds waiting to shine..!

EDIT:
The 24/7 was "raided" cause the law-minister had information that establishments were running past normal times. Not pertinent to drugs. But what a way to check up on aspects. Why at night..? He could have called up the owner during the day, or asked one of his subordinates to do so.

^^ Not only that, but the Word is that that the women were not only abused and manhandled by AAP goons (without any evidence against them whatsoever), but they were also forced to urinate in public so that samples can be collected. If that is true, how can this not be seen as sexual harassment?

so now they asked people to join the dharna , to make the police accountable, to get the police under the delhi government.

and agreed to cut short their dharna when assured that SHO will go on a paid leave.

so all the facade just to fulfill the wishes and ego of the law minister.
Bravo centre and delhi government .:meh::shifty:

On what basis? Was there any evidence to indicate that the particular women who were targeted were involved in said acts? What Somnath Bharthi was asking the police to do was illegal. There is due process to be followed. Even if police were really not cooperating, taking the law into his hands and harassing innocent foreigners is definitely not the way this should have been handled. How would you feel if a Neta like him barged into your house and dragged you and your family members on to the street and behaves in a similar manner without any investigation because a few people who don't like you decided to put some false allegations on you?

Its definitely true that a lot of poor African students are targeted by Indian con men and enticed with prospects of better education in India to bring them here and when they come here, they are forced into prostitution or drug trade. But we don't know whether this true in this case. Without proper investigation, how can this minister take such action. How can he order someone to be arrested or detained without any evidence. How can he take the law into his own hands and get away with it.

the said case is true for even scores of bangladeshi immigrants (illegal too). can we see the same amount of efficiency in dealing with them?

This party just reacts without any thought or investigation. Our politicians are corrupt and system is bad we all know that but we dont need a bunch of angry morons governing who will strike or resort to violence based on some information whose authenticity is questionable. This is shameful, really shameful. I shudder at the thought of a party made of morons forming a central government. They will probably lead us to war with our neighbors the way they are behaving.

Credit to Arun Jaitely for the way he speaks in the first 12-13 minutes on this NDTV interview. Some valid points there.

http://www.ndtv.com/video/player/th...ess-been-outsmarted-by-arvind-kejriwal/306241

Mr Kejriwal is showing his immaturity. Imagine if he becomes the PM and then there is a directive by the supreme court against his govt., he'd probably do a dharna protesting the observation right in front of the court.
OR maybe he'd go global and do a sit-in in front of the UN building in NYC :P

We are the same people who lambasted US marshals for a by-the-book procedure and misrepresented/distorted facts to the public. Our spin is that everyone else is spinning conspiracies against us. There's no reasoning with people like us.

This incident proves what congenital cowards we really are.[DOUBLEPOST=1390362993][/DOUBLEPOST]

I strongly disagree with certain points that Arun Jaitely spoke of. For one, FDI never did have any direct impact on equal job opportunities since the days of reforms. Lack of enforcement, vigilance and revisal of the minimum wages led to inequality in job opportunities. This is just one of them.

Sorry..since you quoted my post and expressed disagreement over Jaitley's opinion on FDI, I have to ask you this:

Did you even bother to take a peek at the video I had linked to in my post? It's got nothing to do with what you said(FDI)

To be honest, this is one of the first glaring points which I read. It is damnation of the highest order. Highly embarasssing.
