The Android tablet thread

Guys, Need some advice. I want to get a Tablet for my dad. Budget 10k. Main use would Be Reading a Lot of e Books, browsing the Internet, over wifi and if possible 3g too. There would be occasional video playback too. If it could read off USB devices(USB otg ) that would be great too. I am looking at android pads like mercury m tab, wespro seems to have bad reviews. Right now another good option seems to be bb playbook at 200$.

What say.?

Kindle fire. PB is anyway no longer in your budget after stock finished.

PB is still in budget as I can get someone to pick it up from a brick and mortar outlet in Canada/US though online it may be out of stock.

Kindle Fire is an alternative, but how good is it? I came across a few negative reviews. Not that the BB PB is perfect, app support(esp free apps) is quite low as i heard, compared to apple app store or android market.

There seems to be a Gateway A60 which is a rebrand of acer 700, for around 250$. But it is kinda out of my budget.

I use Moon+ for ebooks and EZpdf reader for pdf magz and stuff. Both apps are great.

btw ezpdf now supports epubs too
have to check out that feature yet

can anyone tell which is better Ainol aurora 2 vs iberry ax03g?
is the quality,performance of aniol better?i think both are nearly same priced.
also pls tell should i go for 7" or 10" ?will be using mostly in home only.
in 10" i am looking at onda elite 40.

therefore i cancelled my order n requested for a refund.

Anybudy plz help me to buy a tablet priced around 8k.........well i've gone through ebay n got ainol novo 7 elf II for 8250 bucks using coupon!!!but didn't ordered yet. Plz any suggestions???
