So, just read some reports that say that there is a way to unlock your iPhones by just using your IMEI. Basically, you give them your IMEI (along with $175) and they do the rest. You just have to sync with iTunes and your locked phone becomes factory unlocked forever. Anyone willing to give it a shot? $175 is not too expensive :P

It's strange, and call me a conspiracy theorist but all these unlock solutions are suddenly becoming available just in time for a iPhone 5 launch? Lol, coincidence I suppose. Pat, I have seen these postings on eBay.in as well. But from what I have heard it's only for non US iPhones. We could verify though?
 
Whoever has leaked the database or has access to the database must be making some real good money. lol.

Stupid people bashing musclenerd and sherif hashim for no reason. I know its been more than 6 months for unlock but come on dev-team didn't owe you something. They are working on free unlock.

Weird :S.My battery improved after upgrading to 4.3.1 but phone was lagging very badly .Downgraded to 4.2.1.Try disabling ping from settings-->general-->restrictions.

It's not the same as gevey and gevey is available almost everywhere now for around 2.5 to 3000. Why spend more ?

@Switch Same here with 4.3.1. Battery life has gone down by almost 20-25 % on my normal day to day usage. Phone is otherwise very zippy.

Well after uninstalling ultrasnow the signal bar appears to go to zero. The phone is working(can make or receive calls but the signal bars seems not to work).

I have restored the phone to 4.3.1 with Bb 2.10.4 and using it without the jailbreak for Today. Will report back if battery drainage issue returens.
 
Are the battery issues only on iPhone 4? I am considering upgrading my 3GS to 4.3.1 while maintaining the baseband and then using Ultrasn0w 1.2.1 to unlock it.
 
Why did you installed unltrasn0w in the first place ? you are using gevey sim right ?

Just got the 'factory unlocked' - iPhone 4.. Have to cut the SIM yet so haven't tried it along with SIM..

Do I need to apply any of cracks i.e gevey sim/booster sim/ Ultrasn0w etc ?

Just wanted to know if there is any beginner's guide to iPhone..?

I haven't used iPhone/iOS earlier in any form..Hence not versed with most of the things/terminologies.

So I'd appreciate if someone could point me in right direction i.e Dedicated Guides/ Forums etc for to utilize the maximum potential from Iphone.!
