The Fitness Thread !

Re: The Fitness Thread !

Thanks Rockfella for your comments.

I was thinking of waking up early and going to gym instead of late evening workouts. But I will have to make do with the evening sessions only as i dont have 1 hr after waking up. :P

Re: The Fitness Thread !

I have never seen a single person in my gym doing DL, when i hit DL on my back-day everyone just tends to stare.

Re: The Fitness Thread !

Good, once results start showing (which will very soon but only if you keep on increasing the weight on the bar. Never think that you will be able to increase strength/muscle in leaps and bounds = hence the whole concept of adding 2.5kg total weight in every workout so make sure you keep on increasing weight OR nothing will happen no matter if you train for years!) they will start asking you questions. Good luck.

Re: The Fitness Thread !

^Thanks, i am hitting 465 lbs raw currently, aiming for 600 by September. Currently on cut so strength gains are minimal.

Good luck with your goals too.

Re: The Fitness Thread !

This is very impressive. Please share your experiences. 200kg+ DL is very good, please share.

Re: The Fitness Thread !

Started working out somewhere in may 2009, one of the trainers in my local gym was ex-national powerlifter he got impressed when i benched 225 lbs on my chest routine and started to coach me. He moved to another city last year but i am still hooked to powerlifting.

i used to bench 176 lbs on my chest in jul 2007. sadly left the gym at that time, now my body is back to look like a twig. Any suggestions rocky?
