While i appreciate the 'optimism' Darthy has in him and fully understand the nature and spirit of his Anti Indian Cricket rants, but when you get an egg on your face.. one must accept that as well.Renegade said::lol: Assignment for sunny27: Find 3 optimists in a day.
Aravind, a disillusioned Dravid fan gets the best comment of the day award. "Dravid scores his 10,000th run, but wait, Sehwag scores a career high of 319. Dravid scores 11,000 test runs, goes past Border and scores a match saving 177 after 32-4, but wait, media is focused on Sachin's 20th year. Dravid scores his 12,000 tests runs and goes ahead of Lara, but wait, Sachin scores his 50th 100!!! Dravid takes his 200th catch, but wait, no accolades as people don't find it as good as playing a 50th test match! I wonder what they'll give The Wall for his 150th test match. A brick?"
Raghu sends in this gem: "Continuing on Dravid - who can forget the epic innings Adeliade. Not one - but in both innings. And what happens - Saddam is caught!"
All out is unlikely, but yeah they would have most certainly lost more wickets.Arjun said:Dhoni only had two slips even for new batsmen in bowler friendly conditions, amla , kallis & prince all edged atleast once through third slip , SA would have been all out by now if dhoni would have been more attacking

Now looking forward to the ODIs from Sunday.
yup even i prefer DD national for better quality picture & less ads , though the Hindi commentary guys lag behind by ages as they comment sitting in front of a Tv just like us :bleh: & have no excitement or some interesting chats among them & makes me doze off since last 2 matches between 25-40th over.sg3707 said:The One Day Series also looks good. Both the last two matches very tight and very intresting.
India is having lot of luck though...Dont know what is wrong with south Africa..They just Cho...Cho...Choke.
Most of the match they are ahead except for those critical movements.
Loosing sleep because of these intense contests....
BTW I hate Ten Sports for their telecast. Their clarity is not as good as star cricket (Ashes was really good) but they keep on displaying ads everywhere possible
Ads between the overs - As soon as the last ball is bowled or a wicket has fell they dont even wait for the ball to be returned to the keeper, the commentator will the commenting abt something but they just cut the scene to display ads. They just play the advertisements with no concern whatsoever to what is going on in the field.
Ads during the overs - These occupy half of the screen
Now Ads while bowling also - WTF is this while the bolwer is bowling ads are being displayed behind the batsman..near the keeper
Ads comming out of the Pitch - Pufff......No need to discuss enough...Fed up with ads...
I screwed Ten Sports and watching peacefully in our own Doordarshan. Much better telecast wrt cricket. Infact they are 5-10 seconds ahead in relay of the match.Though the quality is not awesome they telecast more of cricket and english commentary is also good(No Madan Lal Here).
