If that shot had come off India would have won with an over to spare. Sadly, it was not to be. .

Really dont get answer to this question why other player dont click when sachin click

I m keeping raina out because he played his inning when sachin was on crease ...Praveen would had made it else he had survived the run out....

Jadeja did the mistake second time and when it was needed he really need to b axe for this series...though can be picked later and ya why is GOny and all not seen in team why does Munaf comes again from oblivion ..his bowling was shameful as he is said to be the fastest bowler of INDIA along with Ishant

@all:i neither hate sachin nor wanna critisize him....and i said that after every ten matches he plays a good inings and so it is proved :P:P:P
victoryless runs are worth nothing !

i bet he's going crack below 40 in next matches....i hope he does not but he's gonna prove his greatness anyhow:P

Stop blaming sachin .. keep ur truth to urself genius :@:@... how can one expect one player to start the innings and then bat till end and score 351.. when he got out we needed some 19 runs and if others can't score those then they dont deserve to be in team..jadeja is the culprit here, got run out stupidly when the ball went straight to the fielder. He should have scored those runs ..no player and I mean no player can score in each and every match ..sachin is no exception either..

when did i expect him to score in every match .....it's time for u^ start watching cricket without stats

it's like buying pc hardware without caring for after sales and warranty..

while it might be possible for some...it does not make sense to others... as simple as that !!

and the ' truth ' you are speaking is based on 'stats' that sachin plays once in every 10 matches...(which again... is incorrect) and i think it's 'you' who should "start watching cricket with 'proper stats' "

PS: to highlight a word, 'single' quotes are used.. double quotes are for conversational purpose.

Ya know, I thought Tendulkar will get caught up with his 17000 runs feat and scoring a century n all that but he came through brilliantly was the only one who played unselfishly.

All the other jokers in the team were busy screwing up as usual.

And really who cares about stats? Do you see the aussies crazy about stats? They play aggressive and ruthless cricket to win.

20, 20, 20, 20, 175 is still better than 60, 50, 30, 10 (Dhoni, Yuvi, Gambhir). Tendulkar has always castled India with his super human performances that leaves the entire world in awe. Maybe he's too good for the Indian team, maybe he should just retire and let the rest of Dhoni's team fend for themselves because obviously they can't stand up to the man and he can't save them all by himself everytime.

Dont forget his 165 in new zealand recently, the century in vb series final in australia, his 93 in pakistan in last day series india played in pakistan ( this was a really superb innings btw ) .

all he had to do was be there till the end ...they would have won it ... went for a spectacular like misbah and blew it ...he should have realised with all the experience in the world that no way india will win it without him ....same scenario , i am sure ponting wont have played that shot ....hes a great of the game but still he could hae been better

He played a shot which he thought was an easy boundary for him, however the debutante bowler deceived him with a excellent slower ball. With the other bowlers, Sachin was picking upthe slower ball as soon as they released it. Alas, even the master has to learn something new each time he bats.

@kippu: as for great Ponting in similar scenario, we will never know because his team never leaves him in such a scenario.

and u seem to be having a very huge brain...hh
MS - Pls dont try hard to prove that u r a fool. U've proved it already from ur first post. We got the point! Try some medication, it shud help you.

u people are making me critisize sachin even more than i really could .
Ok he played extremely well but why the hell he got out (quiet rubbishly)and left the responsibility to PK and the nut -R.jadeja to score another 19 of 17.
that was when sachin could have used his experienced to lead india to a victory and ofcourse become a real hero.

and how many balls did he ate scoring those 20 runs?

I agree to what MS says here. Being able to bat well is not the only thing to do on field.Sachin does bat well. But does it make him a great cricketer? Probably no. To qualify he needs some basic traits like patience and presence of mind which we all need as human. Sachin sure lacks in those.

watch out for ur language dude. Try not to ridicule a person if you dont like his opinion.

it's not really fair to blame sachin for the defeat. he scored 175 after all. having said that, he did throw away his wicket with a very poor and unnecessary shot. if he had stayed, india would have almost surely won the game. so yea, he gifted his wicket to the aussies and that cost india the match.

^^atleast some of'em agree with me:)
and i really believe it's not only sachin fault but it cannot be transferred to jadeja as well..whenever we think of making jadeja sit on the bench he comes up taking wickets of ponting either by bowling or fielding..it was raina who got out unnecessarily for sure
