Please tell me how to read PDF files and view documents in 5800 XpressMusic as no software is loaded in the phone to read these type of files; I want to use Adobe Reader for PDFs. Do I need to download the application from Nokia sites, then plz provide the URL....

but this is a paid app, is there any free app from adobe and what for office documents file viewing, GSMArena says in its specification that there is a Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)...but where is it?

It's displayed in the downloads section (browse through the folders) of your phone, so you need to download and install (Trail versions) them.

Or you can download the installation file from the internet and transfer it to your phone.

Adobe Reader LE is the best optimized PDF reader for the 5800, freeware readers don't do a good job.

n97 mini costs 23k-24k. Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, I don't think is a worthy product for the price. there are much better alternatives.

I have shortlisted...

Blackberry Storm 9530
Samsung Omnia Pro B7610
Samsung Jet
n97 mini
LG Viewty
LG GM730

pick one for me...23k is extreme limit of my budget.....

Quick help is reqd...get it within 2days

Blackberry Storm 9530 vs Samsung Omnia Pro B7610

B7610 is better in everything when compared to storm. bigger and better display, physical keypad, more memory, better RAM, faster processor, better camera, wifi, bigger battery and better talk time.

LG Viewty and Samsung Jet are not smartphones so throw them out of the window for now. :)

LG GM730 though is smart phone has inferior display, no physical keypad.

Though N97 mini comes with better but smaller ( by just 0.3") display, more memory, it has slower processor.

select either N97 mini or Samsung B7610. It all comes to which OS you want. Symbian or WinMo.

B7610:

Key features:
•Quad-band GSM support and 3G with HSDPA
•3.5" 16M-color (65K effective) AMOLED display of 800 x 480 pixel resolution
•Work & Life mode switch key
•Full side sliding QWERTY keyboard
•800 MHz processor with dedicated graphics accelerator
•5 megapixel auto-focus camera with dual-LED flash and D1 video recording at 30 fps
•Windows Mobile 6.5 fully skinned with TouchWiz UI

•The display and back pannel are finger print magnets

With the Samsung B7610 OmniaPRO, you'll experience the best of both worlds. :)

Omnia pro was almost finalized but saw a review on youtube...it says phone is very sluggish n hangs at times....

HTC hero was 2nd fav...but it doesn't have flash...its a very basic camera reqmt ...

With a budget of max 20k.
I need a mobile with big touch screen, good video and audio playback.

I wanted to check out this Android but HTC hero is out of my budget. And HTC Tattoo for 18k has small screen with resistive touch. Should i not give some time to let android settle down first?

Please suggest. thanks.

Not really. It's just that sometimes the touch is registered in the second or third attempt. You can't expect complete fluidity from such devices.

need advice on a phone (budget 10 to 15 k) with wifi & gps. camera and other stuff can be ok, phonebook & message storage should be plenty... Thanks.

Well, the second cheapest android device from HTC is the HTC Magic (24.6K*). Whether it will touch the 20K price point soon, is quite uncertain.

On the other hand, packed with multimedia features and a 3.1" AMOLED resistive touchscreen is the Samsung S8003 Jet (17.5K*), which is your only other option.
