@mountaintrekker
Are touchscreen mobile fones sturdy enough for long bike rides (not drives) ?
Do they require extra care in high altitudes, low tempratures, rough terrain or you can just put them in your jeans pocket like traditional ones and forget them while riding?
Going by your username, if you are actually into mountain trekking and stuff, it would be wise to get something really sturdy. The convenience/implications of using a touchscreen based device in such (read tough, rough...) environments is what I am referring to, not low temperatures and high altitudes.
If it's nothing too intense, you could go in for a touchscreen device.
Samsung Star 5233 vs Nokia 5230
which one is better ?
which is a better music phone ?
By features and specs, the Nokia 5230 takes the lead.
The Samsung Star isn't too far behind.
How about the music quality.. I've read Nokia5230's users review - its not a music phone..
Not a music phone but still manages to output good SQ.

I have query regarding business phones. Need something in between 7-10k. Nokia e63 seems a good buy? any others? dont mind if its semi-business and semi-time pass either. Any phones in this category?
Basically looking for a phone with good connectivity features/organiser/MS office (or equivalent software to work on documents etc).
Also, since I have 2 sims, wanted to know if a dual sim phone will be a good choice? if so can someone suggest a few models withing my budget? again same feature sets are required.
You see, the problem with dual-sims phones is that the juice runs out sooner than you expect it to, irrespective of the battery capacity. So a high-end dual sim phone is obviously going to have a pathetic battery life (eg: Acer DX900 )
That said, it would actually make sense if you buy a low-end dual sim phone that sports a 1000-1500 mAh battery rating.
Ideal business phones in the sub 10k range would be the
Nokia E63 (
9K*) and the
Samsung B7320 OmniaPro (
11.2K*).
The OmniaPro has a stale yet workable (WinMo) OS clubbed with a lot of goodies, that justifies the current price tag. On the other hand, the Nokia E63 sticks to the essential requirements and plays on what it does best, at a lesser price tag.
You'll find a lot of video reviews of both devices, so see what you think about the usability and OS. Or you could simply let the price be a decisive factor.
