Fortunately,there is something very similar from the SE stable..
The new Z555 !! A tad better than the Z550..

Retails @ 6.1k !

P.s:You could get a crystal case for the z550i to avoid metal contact..

And yes you do get crystal cases for flip phones ! even the moto razr v3i has a crystal case..you'll probably have to wait to get a crystal case for teh z555,it being a new model.

That is too expensive for me. So there is nothing better than the N81 other than the N95?

Then that makes my choice easy...

Here is what I would like in the phone;

1. A Decent camera (atleast 2MP)

2. It should be able to play music.

3. Should be good looking.

4. Should function well and battery life should be long.

5. Budget; 15,000 max but should be around 11,000 rupees.

U could also consider the new Samsung i450 (13k)..

but if you do travel a lot,airtel would be ideal ! they have the best roaming rates now..

coverage is prety much the same on both the networks..

Thanks for your help. If the z555 is plastic i wouldn't need a crystal case for it anyway. At least not because of the allergy.

well the n81 only has a 2mp camera as opposed to the 3.2mp unit in the k790i & k810i but does have WiFi to its benefit..
so if you prefer a really good camera phone choose the K810i or the older K790i..
And if you just want a phone for all-round fun,get the n81 8gb..

Well I don't really much care for WiFi but I do care for is decent browsing. Like will the SE's allow me to visit Cricinfo without a problem and check Cricket scores? Also since they all have Bluetooth... it is all good to me...

Yep,K810i is the way to go !!!
It does lack EDGE though..so just the normal browsing speed unless you can make use of 3G !?

Good Q. Nah they're all for different family members. Unfortunately I am the common financier as you may have guessed from the budget consciousness.

1. The Nokia 2760 is nice but had that early complaint of call drops. Don't see that complaint coming up in recent times.

2. Nokia 2626 - Phone book too small, battery life too poor, how do I get the Java programs in? how about the 2600c?

3. W230 - would have preferred the W270 being flip but is that keypad good enough? I don't think it is the same as the W230.

1. Well,that was just one of the phones that met your criteria..
2. Sorry about that..didn't notice the battery life ! avoid the 2626
The 2600C is a really good phone! but the styling may not appeal to all..Apps can be transferred via bluetooth or downloaded through GPRS !
3. W230 & W270 are practically the same phone except for the form-factor.
I would recommend the latter(w270).But don't expect any kind of java capabilities from this phone.

Conclusion:
easy to use,bluetooth,Java capabilities = Nokia 2600Classic
Stylish,Entertaining phone= MOTO W270
