Hey guys,

I am looking for an interim phone, just for 2 weeks, primarily should be able to synch with google contacts, also it would be nice if it has a dual sim option. Pls suggest the cheapest option, I was looking at the micromax Q5, but not sure if it will satisfy my google synch requirement. So will prolly have to go with the c3.

As for my new phone after a couple weeks, my previous fone was a iphone 3gs 16gb factory unlocked, ideally i would like to get the iphone 4, but its too expensive at the moment. So I am considering the following phones Galaxy S, Motorola Milestone Xt720, Nokia N8. Not sure when the Desire HD will be available and at what price. I would like the phone to be within 25k, can stretch a bit if worth it.

TIA.

there is not mich difference between E5 and E72 so it is not worth to spend 5k extra on E72

Nokia E5 vs. Nokia E72 - GSMArena.com
Well, I would suggest the E72 because...

1. Display : Better quality display (E5 uses a cheap one, poor sunlight legibility)

2. Looks: Elegant design, Metallic + high-grade plastic body (E5 feels plasticky/toyish :P )

3. Camera: AF Feature (Useful for macro shots/closeups)

Accelerometer (gaming/apps) + Optical trackpad (quick navigation)

OS is the same, except for a noticeable revamp of the UI and minor feature inclusions.

Price: 16.7K*

From the list of latest Android phones launched...which is the best around 10K. Phones that I've shortlisted are: Dell XCD28, LG Optimus One and Motorola Quench. You guys have something better to suggest? The phone should atleast be grasshopper upgradable.

P.S.: Don't like Xperia and Wildfire.

LG Optimus One P500 is a good choice but it costs ~13k

Please suggest a business phone (QWERTY, Good Cam, Good Music Player, Full 3G important and WiFi optional). Touchscreens are not an option but suggest one if they fulfill all the mentioned features. Primary preference remains for physical keyboard.

No brand preference, budget is 10-12K. Budget can be slightly increased if there are some really good options.

TIA :)

Well E71 is a trusted phones. 3.2 with LED flash. Friend has it and uses it very roughly, but it takes all what you give it. Another one could be E5 which has even a better camera and has more feature than E71, but somewhat doesn't feel like it's going to be with you for a long time. It's just what I think. Check both of them at Chroma!

BTW! Here's a comparison too. http://www.mobile88.com/news/read.asp?file=/2010/8/28/20100825212630&phone=Nokia-E5-vs-E72

dont buy E5 incase u need to use video call in future as there is no front cam for video call in E5

My friend is selling his 3 month old Htc Desire.
It was bought in UK and he has only charger and USB cable.
There are couple of scratches and its been used normally. No case no screen protector. :(
He is asking for 17.5k.

Is this reasonable or else what other option do i have around this price?

@Darky, I read that specs are not that great difference between Optimus One and Galaxy 3. Can you please share your source?

+LT

Errr.... the Galaxy 3 has a WQVGA 400*240 screen whereas the LG Optimus one P500 has a HVGA 480*320 screen. So the LG P500 packs ~60% more pixels than the Galaxy 3 on the same screen size of 3.2". IMO thats a big difference.
