Hi,

I am looking for a mobile with the following features

- Decent camera

- Good screen and apps for reading ebooks

- Flash supported browser capability

- Wifi/3G

- Good Calendar and organizing capaibilites

- Availability of apps

- Good Battery life

currently considering e 75, 5800XM and 5630 XM

Any other suggestions?

HI, I need a phone with :
1.edge
2.slider
3.very good battery backup.. ( slhd run for 3-5 days without charging, 6-8hrs talktime)
4.sms memory (shld be able to store atleast 400-500 sms)
5.calender and tasks shld have a good capacity
Budget - around 5K

I have thought of samsung c5510, is it available in kolkata ? if yes what's its price ?

Where are you getting the E75 for ~15K? current price : around 17K

And the 5630 XM isn't available yet.

Nokia E71 ~ 15.7K (Non-touchscreen, QWERTY)

Nokia 5800 XM ~ 13.2K (Touchscreen)

Your best option would be the Samsung J800 Luxe (6.8K*).
The C5510 isn't widely available yet.

Sorry about that. I need a dual sim phone so that I can use my office and home sim and still maintain a single phone.

1> Budget < 20K INR
2> Should serve the purpose (dual sim functionality should be good, voice clarity should be good)
3> Do not care for touch screen, camera, etc.
4> Should have Bluetooth (so that it can work with my Linea Blue & Me)
5> Should have good warranty (1 year) and decent after sales

requirements are:

decent cam at least 2MP

good music player

bluetooth is a must

wi-fi

Good Battery life

how good are these fones?

The Samsung D880 would be your best option for now.

But if you can wait a while, the Samsung B5722 and C6112 are definitely worth considering.

Neither of them are VFM, so you can safely rule them out.

Your Options :

Nokia 5800 XM
Nokia 5630 XM
SE W705
Nokia N79

Good mp3 phone within 10K

hey guys,

I am looking for a mobile for my fiance. Will be buying by end of this month. Please help me out.

Requirements:
Good Music player & Radio - key point
Good for SMS'ing
Good battery life
Candy bar form factor.
No touch screen please
Camera not important at all
Is 3G important? Not going to do much browsing on that screen.

Budget -within 10K

Was considering the Nokia 5310 and SE G502(hate the proprietary port though).

Please give me your inputs.

Read on the forums that it is available for 13k with sennheiser headphones and a memory card to:hap2:. If u guys know any place where this deal is still going on (in mumbai) please let me know. Need a phone with the following 2 requirements:

1. No Camera

2. Extremely rugged (preferably waterproof).

no budget constraint.

Bonus features:

1. Expandable memory.

2. 3.5 mm audio jack.

For waterproof marine is the best bet but it has a camera.

For the one without cam you can consider the samsung E1410. It has a expandable memory but no 3.5mm jack.

Other option is Nokia 2323. Has bluetooth and MP3 ringtones but no expandable memory

Thanks Karthi,

Im not too concerned about the memory and audio jack. It just has to be able to put up with extremely rough handling, some level of water resistance (a light drizzle) and no camera.

the camera can be disabled, I once did that for my sister. because their college had banned mobiles with camera.

If you want water proof,shock proof phone. then go for samsung marine
