I know.,.... The 3700 is such an odd ball... Maybe it doesn't boost? But is like 300$.

Which is fine. And the 3700x is out of stock anyway. The 3800x has done nothing to go from 3700 to 3800 number wise.

3900 makes sense though. Amazing if they can do 12 cores at 65W. I think it may be 80W with no boosting.

3800x is better binned as silicon lottery posted about. On average it boosted 100mhz more than 3700x. Don't know if its worth it though.
