Excellent !

Are you sure the moon pic was done with the H2 ? ;)

I'd be glad if you could upload the pic with its EXIF intact :D

Thanks guys! :)

No man, if you see my flickr album, the moon snap is in the Sony P150 Set. I got the H2 only last year. :D That snap is even better cuz the P150 is nowhere close to the H2's feature set...but it was a fun cam while I had it.:ohyeah:

I'm sorry but I find it really hard to believe the P150 could have produced such a shallow DoF

:) I knew you would say that. The P150 uses a 1/1.8" sensor as opposed to the 1/2.5" sensors sooo common in today's consumer-level digicams. The macro shots all produce truly shallow DOF. In that particular shot, the focus is pretty much in macro on the barb wire and the moon is outta focus. There was no zoom used in that shot at all. At f2.8, the DOF is rather surprising in all of the macros I've taken with the P150.

For another example of the DOF look at the praying mantis macro in the same post. Sorry for the missing EXIF, i used to use Photoshop's "Save For Web" feature before I discoverd that "Save As" keeps the same details and retains EXIF as well. I'll try to post the original if you truly want it, the pic's on my laptop and not on this comp. :)

There was a reason I loved the P150. :D

^ Hmm.. yeah even my P150 uses a 1/1.8" sensor (:P), i'll get back to you on this one.

For the Rock concert you used the H2 at its full zoom ?

You must have really stable hands to shoot at such a high f-number in low light, and your limited by Sony's pathetic high ISO performance as well ;)

Tell me more about that shot !
