1,3 & 5 are AMAZING shots! Was that at 12x zoom? Very very good edge sharpness, what mode have you shot those pictures on? Did you stop down the lens?
 
Thanks,Anish. :) Yes, it was on 12x zoom..Tht pigeon is a regular at my bedroom balcony. :lol: i was pretty close to it, as it was sitting on the railing, but didnt want to scare it away..so took it from a distance with zoom. :P Took it in program mode with exposure set to +1 as it was slightly dark inside the room. ISO@100. :)

Wanted to take the pics in manual mode so tht i cud get more control over the aperture value as i wanted to blur out the background a bit more..but was worried tht it'll fly away..so took the pics in P mode..:P

Btw, this was the closest i cud get to it...:lol:

 
I think it was pi$$ed off...:rofl: Tht bird comes for a quick nap in the balcony everyday and i normally never disturb it. But,on tht day, i was lurking around the balcony to take those pics and it was visibly pi$$ed off thinking what this guy is upto...:rofl:
