With rain etc. haven't had too many opportunities for photography, yesterday evening there was a riot of color, even though I was at home surrounded by other buildings, it was just too spectacular to miss out on so tried to capture it:

What's going on here.
Btw, an awesome shot is there in the previous page - Grease Monk's 2nd shot. Damn good work but sadly not high-res.
Shots with an all-new lens - the Sony 18-250. All from a lazy day in the backyard.
On the ropes
250mm, f10, 1/40, ISO 100 (SSS really helping here)
Almost there
250mm, f10, 1/40 (SSS again!)
Backlit!
250mm, f6.3, 1/400
Blades of light
40mm, f9, 1/80
As I said in the other thread, a lil more PF, slightly softer at 250mm but holds it's own in the rest of the range, and defnly more vignetting wide-open at all focal lengths. But the range is darn cool to use - 18-250mm on an SLR!
