This is the real difference between film camera and digital camera. Digi cam have limited dynamic range compared to film. The advantage of digital camera is you can post process the image. Its wise to reduce -1/2 to -1 stop to get the highlight detail then brighten up in PP. Also remember consumer cams use steep contrast curves for the punchy look it does cost extra 1 stop details od the highlight.

OT: nice and sexy fiat. You could have used HDR.

yeah i cud have taken it better but tripod was in the car i was not keen on taking it out as we were in hurry, anyways can you tell me how to take HDR images ?? never tried it out :)
