I probably have the most organised collection across the drives ...all nicely arranged with Subs, posters and everything is usually 1080p and have a list as well

Even my collection is properly organized using this guide. although I start deleting stuffs when my hard disk has less than 500GB space left (starting from worse quality) I pretty much like to keep rare stuffs. Well I'm not in Bangalore but I'd definitely like to meet you someday when I'm there.

I like to keep my collection with rippers name, source, some some more details. In this way I know if I need to re-fill with a better version once that is out just by looking at the list rather than opening the file
As of now, I know the kind of collection (print, size, etc) for 70 percent of my collection.

After losing my collection 2/3 times on hdd crash, I almost left hoarding stuffs.
Now I got a relatively faster connection (5mbps with occasional speed spikes upto 5mBps)
So, basic MO is like : download -> watch -> if re-watchable (movies mainly) Keep else delete.

I am only worried about the music collection as it grew over a period of time and it'd be almost impossible to recreate the same in case of any crash.

I used to download a lot of stuff back in my college days - made good use of the 2-8am free period (BSNL Home 500 )
At the time, we had a group of people who would download and share with the other classmates. Then I started working and the backlog increased to about 400+gb. Unfortunately my HDD crashed when the backlog was at its peak and I just had about 200gb backed up. Then I started downloading only a few movies and of late have been streaming a lot of the TV shows. New releases I invariably watch them in the theater. I still haven't managed to see those ~200gb movies that I have in storage (downloaded during 06-08/09)

When there are no good shows around to watch (like right now with the summer breaks for most of the shows), I end up re-watching shows like Seinfeld, Castle (S1-S4), Coupling, TBBT (S1-S3). Most of the times I end up watching of these shows for 3 hours at a stretch ( - but I somehow can't get myself to watch a 2 hour movie) Something strange has happened. I seem more interested in TV shows (new or re runs) but not movies..

@m-jeri 55TB of p0rn? Wow! Did you even watch all of them? How long have you been collecting p0rn for??
