I was on the school basketball team (mostly to have the chance to speak to the girls' team). I also used to skateboard a lot when I was in college (which wasn't easy since we don't have the concept of skate parks here, so I had to improvise).

Tough luck RCB. Maxwell and Karthik both kinda made RCB lose the game.

Maxwell giving away his wicket first ball and Karthik just having a less than 100 SR. Even 10 more runs would've gone a long long way.

Proud of Kohli.

United States of America beat the star studded Bangladesh international team 2-0 to register their maiden series win against them. This is the biggest upset that there has ever been. Nothing comes close. It's not like Bangladesh had their B-team in the US. No, their best 11 got beaten.

For those out of the loop, Bangladesh has been full member of the ICC for multiple decades whereas USA is currently an associate nation.

Nadal crashes out of French Open in R1 match vs Zverev in straight sets (6-3 | 7-5 | 6-3).

In all possibility it was his last French Open appearance. End of an era. An absolute LEGEND. Thank-you Rafa for the great matches and fantastic memories!

And now a throwback...

Anyone been following the French Open?

Nadal gone in R1 and now Djokovic out with a Meniscus tear and he will definitely miss Wimbledon and perhaps even the Olympics if he doesn't recover. Meniscus tear can take long to heal. His ranking will drop and the new Number 1 will be Jannik Sinner from 10th June. I doubt Djokovic will ever get to number 1 ever again. He'll have too many points to accumulate and way too many matches to win for bagging those points. His body just won't hold up anymore. Age and Father Time.

After 20+ years of dominance looks like the Big 3 are well and truly done. What an era it was... spectacular!

Sinner vs Alcaraz will be the next generation's big rivalry. Friday's SF game at the RG will be a mouth watering one for Tennis fans.

In other news, India vs Ireland at the Cricket T20 WC today!

Just checked the news. Indian player Rohan Bopanna has advanced into the quarter finals. Great news.

Though I don't know all the rules of the game, it's simple enough to understand. I have played tennis for a few consecutive days on a trot as kid, on a television set, as a cool retro digital game. Never after that.

It appears as though very few of the active members are interested in sports discussions.

Try and watch the match on Friday evening between Alcaraz & Sinner. It's the battle of the next-gen champs and it's definitely a rivalry that is just beginning.

A long 5th setter SF going on between Alcaraz and Sinner at the French Open with Alcaraz up 3-0 in the 5th.

This will be a tremendous rivalry for the next decade.

Jay Shah delaying the match with rain so that people can watch the oath ceremony of Modi. BCCI = Weather Gods.

I fear it's going to be a complete washout. It's raining cats and dogs now. Imagine the losses for ICC. Lol

I don't think it will be a complete washout but match will definitely get intermittently affected due to spotty showers.

I'm back to watching Oath Ceremony & French Open Final match :D
