Okay so India just won one more world cup (technically) trophy. We won the World Championship of Legends tournament of 2024. Didn't even know about this thing until two days later now lol. https://www.espncricinfo.com/series...kistan-champions-final-1442366/full-scorecard

Apparently everybody in Pakistan was following this hoping for some sort of revenge from India. But India defeated them in the finals pretty convincingly. Imagine being that serious about a tournament of retired players.

On another note, India played pretty poorly in the group phases and barely qualified over SA (Once again) but went absolutely berserk in the knock outs.

Last evening there was a Men's Singles match in Bastad (Sweden) between Rafa Nadal and the legend Bjorn Borg's son Leo Borg. I watched it. It was a nice comeback from Rafa and it was also great to see Leo Borg in action. 21 year old young lad vs 38 year old horse Nadalito. Rafa won the match in straight sets and it seems he is priming himself nicely for the upcoming Olympics.

To think of it when Nadal won his first French Open in 2005 (vs Puerta) Leo Borg was only 2 years old. Just goes to show the dominance of the Big 3 for 2 decades.

Of course now the torch has been passed to the future ATG Alcaraz.

Is there any match where he didn't indulge in some sort of fakery? Last year it was a knee surgery. Today it was an injury. Nonetheless, carlos still fell for all the theatrics. Too many unforced errors. Wrong shot selection at critical times unable to conver the BPs. Although young he still should be embarrassed for not being able to defeat a 37 y.o. because he served the match on a plate the other guy didn't win.
