Triple fi or ie8 or anything else?

^please write a full review as soon as possible. Eagerly wating for it. Did you get a chance to listen to M1 too? I was planning to get M1.
 
^ Yeah sounds to good to be true .Could be a fake also. Lot of IE8 fakes floating around in US so need to be sure if its from an authorized deal. But than this seller is insisting in his listing that the ones he is selling are not fake and even provides the link for original + fake comparison . Confusing :S . I think if you make payment via Paypal you can open a case if the item is not as described. Not sure but I think such an option is there.

Paypal has an option to open a case if the item received is not as described ,they return back the money .Did happen with me 2 times.
 
Managed to audition a TF10 yesterday.Really loved the soundstage,listened only a couple of song though.Novembre`s "tales from a winter to come" sounded really great.This song has a weird bass line (extremely thin and dreamlike) and probably for the first time I could hear it.Radiohead`s creep didnot feel that good,something is wrong with the vocals.Feels like Yorke`s mic is couple of feet away from his mouth.The guy who let me use the TFs owns an electronics shop and apparently seems well informed (at least he knows names of bands which you do not see in VH1).He has promised an audition with ie8 (couple of months old though)today,provided I buy either of them from him.According to this fellow,the IE8 has a better soundstage and overall slightly better than TF10.
 
Could be fake, but Sennheiser's European prices generally work out cheaper than the American prices so there's every chance that they could be real too.

@ red dragon - the mids on the TF10 are quite laid back and have a slightly distant feel, almost like the singer is pulling away, so its not just the one song it will feel similar with everything. I'm hoping that the additional mid driver fixes that, still need to read up on it a bit more. :)
 
Shall I go for the ie8 (about 22 months warranty remaining) for 14k?

:)Well guys,I have finally bought the ie8 for 15.6k.Right now the bass is waaay too heavy,but the soundstage is huge,probably even wider than the pair of woodies I have.

Thank you guys.Now my laptop is screwing up again,HP is such a pain in the a**,got the display changed 1 month ago,now it has started flickering again.Thank God,it is still under warranty.
 
Congrats :)

With about 300-400 hours, IE8 will become a whole different IEM - I've read. If that's true in your case, you've bought two IEMs for the price of one ;)

Congrats Red Dragon ! If you ever visit Mumbai , please inform me .I would love to try out the IE8s. I doubt I will ever come across them otherwise :).
 
^^^ You can, right now i am thinking that you'll buy the IE8 for me from the shop you mentioned earlier for 15.5k.

so you can try them out for few days(as u'll take the pain of buying then and shipping them) again it depends when i'll get the scholarship(might take a month too).
