Bad, missed it.

Had seen this post when OP had started this, and then had mailed my cousin in US for his address. When i got back the address, this deal was over. Damn. WTF.
 
i got mine too. delivery is on tuesday.. a lot of people who've ordered much later will get them after a month..

Mine;s are toh reserved , my friend has got a mail that the order is being confirmed . But they will be shipped by 25th dec .

So me toh relaxed , someone or the other will come from US in jan , he will get them personally :)

So even shipping , customs saved !!!

@all those who missed the deal,

Do not worry! Not all of the buys are for genuine use. A few would have bought it for selling later. Most of these should be available in January with a small profit for them on eBay / head-fi (just like the $250 RE-262 selling as low as $140 now). But unlike last year, Amazon restricted it to 2 per order, which might have restricted the numbers available a lot compared to last year.

RE262 @140 !! ...no the min i have seen is 150 +shipping ! also thats just because the big boys wanted the HM602 and sold off the 262...wait a month or two..the prices will be 180+

Mine are already in transit. Hopefully, I'll get them before you and tell you how long before you sell them and look for W3 ;)
 
i just thought about it !!

why did not you all buy it and sent it to ficher hearing/ UM (us) directly for remould !

i mean most of you have doubt weather it will have good fit or not...why not have them remolded to your ears.

ficher remold would have cost you 175 total (95for tf10+80for remold)(with an extra cable !!)+ shipping to india they ship to india also that would not have attracted customs ..!! as they wont be new then ! and the remolders can write what ever they want on the package. in all less than 200 with EMS for a remolded TF10 new with extra cable !!! WTF!!

damn i am soo intelligent! :P
 
^ And what makes you assume that I'll like TF10's signature enough to get them re-molded in the first place and I'll have fit issues? :P
 
not assuming ...i am saying you are already paying $160 and looking for an extra cable ...at 200 you would have got them remoulded+new-extra-cabled+shipped !

I know you, even if you dont like it , you will still keep it. so here there is no question of resale value!
 
now, that's somethig i want to know !!

you get remolded tf10 and extra cable v/s universal TF10 with extra cable ..both at same price

you choose the latter ...Hmm ...warranty? ( but you will have to send them back to claim it )
 
Why do you assume I want a custom in the first place? ;). If that was right, then I'd say you have a very valid argument.

Edit: Even though I am paying $160, I am still "trying out a signature" with TF10. From what I've read JH13 might suit me more than TF10 re-molded. Besides, you also assume that I might not sell TF10, but I just might if it doesn't give me something different in my collection.
